Moderators, posters, anyone who can assist me with this would be great. What happened to the ignore button? It used to be prominently displayed within each post if I remember correctly.

I desperately need to update my list. Please help.

Heya!

Go to the My Controls link at the top which is beside View New Posts and click.

On the left side of the new page look for Menu. Scan down to see Manage Ignored Users and click.

Scan down to this:

Add a new user to your list

Fill in the blank with your least favourite posters.

I have a list of potentials for you to put there. lol

My friend to the rescue! Thanks J.

Yep, there's nothing worse than not paying attention to a poster's name and getting through one or two paragraphs of utter tripe before realising that you're never getting your two minutes of life back!

Nonetheless, I must admit that there is someone who is also getting un-ignored. I'm delighted to see that this person seems to have calmed down quite substantially during my year and a half of self-imposed exile.

Yes... the one you think I mean!!!

Personally I would prefer if the blocking extended to when members include quotes in their posts. There's a reason why I have, for instance, blocked Rue; I prefer not to see his entire rambling posts quoted by other members.

Dont want to be continually reminded how wrong you are. Yeah, I guess that would suck.

Why not put everyone on ignore, that way you could play in the sandbox by yourself, say whatever wrong things you want, and put on your Spiderman footie PJ's happy every night.

I would never ignore anyone, no matter how annoying they are. If I'm going to censor myself I might as well post over at FD so we can stroke each other.

It seems that many posters seem to think that people actually care what they think, no one does. This is just entertainment, nothing we say here will ever matter or evoke change, sort of like the NDP and Smilin' Jack.
