First I was wondering if all of the promises the PC’s are making so far in the campaign will be followed through like the ones they have carried through with so far, or are these quick decisive new policies only going into play at the moment for political show? For example the new policies regarding youth and the justice system, are these new laws being laid only because the election is coming up? Was this intentional? Or was this going to happen with or with out the election? Quote

If you noticed in Harpers address that he said - to para phrase - "We will deal harshly with those who commit violent crimes against persons AND PROPERTY. Property is the key word. Conservatives of the old school have always been the ones conserving the wealth and in buisness the conservatives still control the money supply in Britian and Canada. Property to them is more important than some dull charactered black kid shooting another useless gangster that refuses to work for cheap in a conservative establishment. When the white grandsons of conservatives are shot in their SUV after probably insulting a black gang banger at the tail end of a bad saturday night coke deal...well then the conservatives are up in arms - and want to be hard on crime - (blacks that dare kill conservative white boys). If not one single white person was shot by blacks the conservatives really would not be concerend - but their system is faltering and now they see that the combination liberalistic henchmen policy combinded with traditional conservative greed and selfishness - NOW is leaking into their community - hence now they want to go hard on crime - before crime was not touching them - now with the cocaine use of their grandsons and the intermingling social with black dealers - it's gotten dangerous for them and now they will finally act - about damned time! It was going to happen with or with out an election because crime is slowly working it's way up the food chain and begining to personally effect conservatives. You really don't feel the cold on someone elses neck when you are warm and on the inside - I assume that there is a draft in the house of conservatism and they want to seal that crack before the snow gets in. Call it human nature ...they are being personally effected so now they are taking notice. Quote
