Where is there an insult?

I think referring to anyone as a weasel is an insult. However, you can see for yourself here.

Insults levelled at third-parties (companies, political parties, nationalities) are also forbidden in the forums.

Do not use diminutives or character substitutions in proper names that are not recognized by the original person to whom the reference is being made. For example, Prime Minister Stephen Harper does not identify himself as Stevie therefore, it is unacceptable to identify him as Stevie. Likewise, Paul Martin does not identify himself as Mr. Dithers, therefore, it is unacceptable to identify him as Mr. Dithers.

Insults are not allowed in this forum as outlined by the moderator.

Surely you can't consider that an insult....

I didn't refer to him to a weasel, I said he had the appeal of a weasel. It criticizes his lack of charisma, not his facial features. Either way, this was a satirical article, and a good one at that.It brought up a lot of good points, and I would hate to think that political correctness has encroached so far as to censor satire, particularly on the internet, one of the last safe havens for the freedom of speech. If that's the case, then this forum isn't for me.

He said he has the charisma of a weasel, not that he was a weasel. If I said Dion is as popular as a fart in an elevator, would you think I was calling Dion a fart or calling him an elevator?

In response to this particular forum rule:

I would like to direct people's attention to this section of the site:

Why is it that artists are permitted to portray politicians diminutively (by said rule's standards) in the name of satire, but written commentators are not? Is there something fundamentally different between calling Jack Layton 'Lenin' and drawing him as 'Lenin'?
