Former RCMP Commissioner Giuliano "The Rat" Zaccardelli bares his soul to the CBC, explaining what really happened with Muher Arar's deportation to Syria. "The Yankee devil made us do it", referring to the evil Americans and their tricky airline reservation system.

In an exclusive interview with CBC News, Zaccardelli suggests U.S. authorities deliberately misled the Mounties about what they intended to do with the Syrian-born Canadian citizen who in 2002 was arrested by authorities in New York on his way home to Ottawa from a family holiday in Tunisia.

Isn't this guy contradicting the findings of a $15 million government investigation? Or is it just another Zack attack?
