I was wondering about this while thinking of Julie Couillard's use of a red diplomatic passport.

Government power does not confer freedom. (Ask Julie Couillard - once you dispense with her questions about sleeping with power.)

Is Bill Gates free? George W. Bush? Who is free to choose?

I still think that the best measure of wealth is one's freedom to choose. Rich people have more choices than poor people. (Message to do-gooders: You help the world when you give people more choices.)

And if it is a fear you would dispel, the seat of that fear is in your heart and not in the hand of the feared.

Verily all things move within your being in constant half embrace, the desired and the dreaded, the repugnant and the cherished, the pursued and that which you would escape.

These things move within you as lights and shadows in pairs that cling.

And when the shadow fades and is no more, the light that lingers becomes a shadow to another light.

And thus your freedom when it loses its fetters becomes itself the fetter of a greater freedom.

It seems like sexual attractiveness trumps governmental power in this case, if it is true.

Freedom: You have the ability to do what you want, including impeed on others ability to do what they want, as they can to you. Hierarchy systems rise up instantly and legal systems hopefully soon after.

I think when it comes down to the minds of the human being, everything is a figment of the imagination.
