I bet you could find someone to send you your forty dollars just so they didn't have to listen to you whine about it. Its 40 bucks, hell, even if its $60/Cdn thats not a bad deal for the hockey and some of the other Canadian content that would be lost.

It's a terrible deal.

Do you think the NHL wouldn't be shown on network Canadian TV if it weren't for the CBC?

CTV picks up HNIC and move the At Issue panel to CTV NewsNet and I'd take my $60 back in a heartbeat given the chance.

My idea of television is PBS, did you watch Bill Maher today, SCN, TVO used to be good but with the sell in with the Harris government it has slipped and the BC station. These along with AChanel news and the Weather chanel are all we watch. The CBC of course but the rest are a lot of useless nonsense catering to the great unwashed.

Guess I'd better take shower cos, golly gee I watched some nasty yankee stuff last night... The horror of it all. :lol:

Sure there is, Boston Legal, it's great yankee show LOL Mind you, all the left wing platforms they give to James Spader gets a bit much some times, the politics in general no matter who they are bashing gets a bit much. -

I don't watch cop shows, lawyer shows (billable hours excepted) doctors shows (scrubs, heartbeat excepted) or shows whose title are acronyms, numbers or place names (ROME EXCEPTED)

No idea what a site com is. Perhaps some Internet.... :blink:

Bottom line: I don't care how crappy a show is as long as my taxes aren't paying for it.

We go to the library and sign out DVDs of a lot of 70's and earlier shows. The 'periodness' of them is fun to watch...cars, clothing, technology and so on.
