They found a buyer in a lot of fat-cat pension funds (Ontario Teachers et al), but the Quebec Court has said no. You might have seen the ads Bell puts up - beavers. With dirty fingernails. Jeez. Bell is toast. And they can't even sell off the pieces. Sell. We need a telecom WestJet. Unless yer fool 'nuff to open yer bank account to the cable companies. From my cold dead hands.... This sale may be toast, but Bell is far from toast... You can already get your VoIP service from alot of different providers besides the cable companies. BTW, 'Ma Bell' charged alot when they were a government regulated monopoly, you know, socialism? Since competition was introduced ( you know, capitalism) prices have gone down...
