Problems posting

Is anyone else having a problem getting posts on the board? It seems to be hit and miss with me. I couldn't get posts using the quote feature to 'take' in the Disneyland in Baghdad thread and now I'm having problems posting replies in the Sue Johanson thread. Just curious if it's just me, and if anyone knows what could be causing the problem.

I take it I'm the only one having this problem? It's not my computer, because it happens on both my desktop and laptop.

This I can get through, but I can't get through the reply I'm trying to post in another thread. Weird.

Are you using Windows XP and did you just upgrade to service pack 3? Good ol' Bill decided that with SP3 he'd tell us all how much more he knows about our favourite sites than we do. If you are using IE6, click on tools, Internet Options, Security. You might need to add MLF to your trusted sites and uncheck the box that requires SSL. Just a guess.

I'm running IE 7 under Vista and that's what I did. It solved a number of issues.

Thank you for your responses/suggestions, HS and Aug91-- I really appreciate it. I'm running XP on the laptop and ME on the desktop, and I tried both IE and Firefox, and had the same problem no matter what computer/browser I used. It seems to have cleared up *knock on wood* so hopefully that's that. I've never had any problems before, so I wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. It was really frustrating. So again, I thank you.
