madmax
Just months after running for the Ontario Liberals, This Candidate cites the weakness of Dion as the reason he is bailing out of the party. Coming in 2nd in the Provincial Election he has decided to support the perennial GP candidate who finished a very distant 3rd. How much bleeding will the Liberals suffer under Dion? Ontario is where Liberal Numbers are holding up, is there a small hole in the damn of fortress Ontario? http://www.radioowensound.com/news.php?id=11354 Wasaga Liberal goes Green Written by Mariane McLeod The Simcoe-Grey Liberal candidate in the last provicial election is swinging his support to the Green Party. Steven Fishman says he's fed up with the federal Liberals leaving the Harper Tories in power. Fishman says he is also looking for a party with a stronger leader. He doesn't think the Green leader is strong?
sharkman
This is bad news for the Liberal party plain and simple, and no doubt is what many Liberal voters have been doing as well, looking for greener pastures.

Simply another page in the book that is Steph Dion's failed Liberal leadership. The first Liberal leader in 100 years not to become PM. truthwins
Under corporate tycoon Paul Martin, the Liberals became corrupted and then imploded. Under waffling, wimpy, lame and timid Dion, a closet supporter of Harper's Neo-Con policies, the Liberals proved once and for all how truly untrustworthy, right-wing and destructive they really are. madmax
The guy seems a little confused. He is supporting the Green candidate federally but looking for a strong leader. He doesn't think the Green leader is strong? Confused? He was the Liberal Candidate. Read the Article. Dion Weak. He claims that the GP leader is stronger then Dion. (Scarey thought for Liberals, as Conservatives could well break through in Ontario) Polls say, Harper Strong, Layton Strong, Dion Weak (Likeable, but weak)

The only way to spin such a painful story to something 'positive' for the Liberals was to attack the person. Nothing to get excited about. Thinking, voting, Canadians see the Liberal Party of Canada for the Titanic that it is....
jdobbin
Confused? He was the Liberal Candidate. Read the Article. Dion Weak. He claims that the GP leader is stronger then Dion. (Scarey thought for Liberals, as Conservatives could well break through in Ontario) You are correct. He did say he was looking for a strong leader. I wasn't sure at first if he was referring to the provincial Liberals since he was the former provincial Liberal candidate. Polls say, Harper Strong, Layton Strong, Dion Weak (Likeable, but weak) I posted that poll in the political polls section. However, if we are going to get into former candidates speaking out against the parties they ran for, we have to look at the recent issue of "in and out." In that thread, we have a candidate or two of the Tories saying they wouldn't run again because of the issue. In the end, how high up was this guy in the local federal infrastructure? He doesn't appear to be the federal candidate nor does he appear to be big in in the riding association. This sort of looks like the steady stream of NDP provincially who go Liberal federally.
