Drea
Pizza is actually quite unhealthy, as is most restaurant food. Personally I don't care to eat in restaurants knowing what kind of garbage happens behind the scenes. Nothing tastes better than a meal lovingly prepared by one's devoted and trustworthy mother/wife in the comfort of one's own home. It would taste even better if you pitched in! When a family is devoted to one another they all pitch in with the drugery, the "one off stuff" (siding the house, for example), and the fun. Family is about.. well, life! And life involves human beings who like to have fun, moms included. You seem to think that moms are workhorses whose idea of "fun" is cooking a big meal while dad and the kids go play. Methinks you have a skewed view of women and what makes them happy. And there is nothing wrong with going out for pizza or chinese once a week. If human beings were so frail that their health would fail after one "unhealthy" meal... there sure wouldn't be many people alive LOL. M.Dancer
If I can't have March 18th off, I would like a day where the kids are in boarding school, I have no chores and the Mrs and I can stay in bed and remember what it was like before our family.... Drea
YES! A "Pro-D" Day for parents... it is so hard to find time for just each other. We should probably set aside 3 or 4 of these "special" days for parents to reconnect.
