Carinthia
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/12/20/...er-lawsuit.html Very interesting! Wonder if this will have any bearing on a public inquiry going forth.
Michael Bluth
Very interesting! Wonder if this will have any bearing on a public inquiry going forth. Perhaps. It is yet another reason for Harper to decided not to call for a public inquiry and yet another reason for the opposition to agree with him. M.Dancer
An Ontario court has thrown out businessman Karlheinz Schreiber's lawsuit against Brian Mulroney, saying it has no jurisdiction over the dispute. Not exactly a vindication of Mulroney or a rebuttal of Karl's claims.......
Topaz
This only shows that Schrieber can't get his money back nothing else. I would like to see an inquiry to find out if Mulroney was helped by Germany/German company and other politicans to become the PM to bring the German business to Canada. There still alot questions for Mulroney dealing with the money.

What Mulroney did was improper but it was legal. There is no onging culture of entitlement as there was with Adscam.
jdobbin
Not exactly a vindication of Mulroney or a rebuttal of Karl's claims....... However, some Tories are saying that it clears Mulroney entirely. Nothing to see here, let's move on. Let's forget that we were the ones that said there should be an inquiry and told Johnston to set the parameters of one.
