M.Dancer Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Hi Guys I eat one of those packages of cheese, must be over a lb and I also take wild salmon oil, 3000 units. Try it, you need cheese to fight Ostoporosis. No problems, in fact if I take more than three tables of the cheese I am on the run. My calcium level aren't a problem at the stage....I eat plenty of alfalfa sprouts, brocolli, peas and even tofu.....of course BBQed tofu Quote RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us

Wonder if France left the same sense of culinary style there? Funny you should mention that, if you are in Toronto, I recommend a small French Bistro on Bedford called Le Paradis (reservations recommended) They serve a southern style of French cuisine heavily influenced by Algeria. On of their specialties are Merguez sausages which come in lamb or beef (I think they have a medley as well). Don't know if france left an impact..usually the colonials leave with experiance.....ever have an indian shepherd's pie? I haven't. In montreal there are at least a dozen fabulous (this is about food so I can say fabulous) north african and arabic restaurants that serve amazing couscous and other spicy delights, usually not too expensive. White Doors Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Well I'll be! Next time I'm in Tdot I'll try to check them out. Usually when I'm in the bigger centres I concentrate on Indian and Lebanese (another one en francais) to try and get my fill. I'll expand my boundries next time. mikedavid00 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 ...anyway, the # one thing I can so to lower my cholesterol is to eat more fibre, so to that end I'm on my 2nd week of the Kellogg's All Bran Fibre. If I where you I would not eat fibre to lower cholestoral. That is unhealthy. Stay away from salt and sugar (that includes ceral) and take pharmacueticals. no queenslave understands the fundemental things that make 'Canadians' well.. Canadians. He strongly advised diet before medication and fibre The cereal is the same as eating sugar and your doctor doesn't know what he's talking about. You need medication if you seriously want to lower cholestoral since the overwhellming majority of it is created in your liver. Your doctor seems to be a lefty that cares about text books and idealisms and the CBC. I care about lowering your cholestoral.
