GostHacked Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/11/28/...ests/index.html CNN) -- More than 200 Saudi and foreign militants have been arrested over their alleged involvement in various plots, including assassinations and a planned attack on an oil facility, Saudi officials say. Just a couple days after letting 1500 of them go free. Ummm... The official said 112 of those arrested were "linked in with elements stationed abroad who facilitate the exit and travel of those to conflict zones" such as Iraq. So why is this not mentioned more in the news? Iran gets all the credit while Saudi Arabia gets the glory? Quote
capricorn Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 The Saudi King is so benevolent, he has "pardoned" the victim of a gang rape. Some Saudis say the King acted against their religion. The BBC's Heba Saleh says the king's decision to pardon the woman victim is already arousing controversy with some contributors to conservative websites, who say he has breached the rules of religion in order to appease critics in the West. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7147632.stm Did his majesty set aside his religious beliefs in order to bow to international pressure? Drea Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Did his majesty set aside his religious beliefs in order to bow to international pressure? What does that make him? I think that makes him a living breathing human being. This is really good news. Perhaps the other mideastern countries will follow suit... I doubt it, but we can always hope...
