  1. I second one of the views that if Canada didn't exist, not much would change in terms of worldwide GHG emissions. Just take a look at how steadily C02 emissions have been climbing across the world since 1995: http://www.statista.com/statistics/276629/global-co2-emissions/
  2. The best way for the US to help out right now is by hitting the insurgents from the air and letting the Iraqi army do the job on the ground. They really need to act in some capacity and try to undo the mess the left after the withdrawal.
  3. Most killing done by Canadian tactical aircraft happened protecting Canadian troops in Afghanistan, a legal war carried out in support of Canada's primary friend who suffered 3,000 innocent people murdered in 2001.
  4. South Korea, Japan and the United States are never going to recognise this zone as legitimate and will most likely continue to test it until the Chinese back down. They aren't brave enough to shoot down an intruding aircraft.
  5. but over the decades... does relegion increase? think there are more atheists, because we have things like internet and so on
  6. Don't forget that the Serbs had success against American stealth aircraft in 1999 with obsolete SA-3s. It would be a very dangerous move to put faith in the F-35's stealth technology in a combat situation involving an S-400.
  7. How long will the F-35's stealth technology remain effective? I don't think Canada needs the F-35 - looking at the country, a tough twin-engined fighter with a long range would prove far more effective. Something like the Super Hornet, Rafale or Eurofighter. The French are more than satisfied with the Rafale and aren't rushing into developing stealth aircraft. And look at Russia and how effective its MIG-31s and SU-27s are proving at patrolling the massive expanses of airspace there. The F-35 is too expensive and is not an aircraft that suits Canada's needs. The added safety of two engines, more fuel and weapons would be far more effective in my opinion.
  8. So I'd suggest to legalize it. Wo wants it gets it. So why not doing like Uruguay? (They legalized it if I remember it correctly.)
