american ranchers dont care about the health of their cattle (as long as they can still sell them) and they dont care about what happens to whoever eats their produce. i say that the whole system should be reformed.

whatever anyone else might say that IS the reason. the average voter, is looking for the candidate that 'connects' with them. once they find one, they will start and continue voting in that party until there is someone in the other party who 'connects' like it or not that is how mass politics works, if there isnt a new 'connecter' in an entire generation, the parents will teach their 'politics' to their children. my parents were conservative, i am conservative. it all connects.

as you do i see no connections between 9-11 and saddam. i also believe that the us did not act rationally in its invasion of iraq. but as for the invasion of iran? no. iran is a major country, with a large military and over 60 million people. such an invasion would have to be extremly well thought out, and it would need support of the un and america's 'allies'. otherwise, it would practically ruin both americas economy and army as new recruits are harder to come by with all the fighting. and i suppose you approve of the deaths of american civilians as much as you think g. b. approves of the deaths of iraqi civilians, as for me i disapprove of all unneccesary violence. i think that few of the united states problems were solved by either wars; the worldwide 'distaste' for americans is simply strong.

yeah it seems that they should have chosen a healthier cardinal (personally i was hopeing for a latin american pope), as it is often traumatic to lots of people to see the pope die.

Im with Kimmy too. Its one thing to disagree with someone (with GWB I encourge it as i dont really like the guy), but it is absurd to say that he has a mental illness. (imagine if this was being said the other way around)

I dont really think that propaganda made for the purpose to discourge pot is really that bad, even if you don't become homeless, it still is a health issue, and it is illegal. yes i agree that it is brainwashing (it has throughly convinced me) but is this really bad??

i am not defending Israel "inhumane practices", I am merely pointing out that you are not condemning other countries with far worse practices. It is ridiculous to say (as if it was true) that a country that has support, is bad only because it does, because violating human rights is obviously not why, because you are only condemning Israel which is not the only country violating human rights.

At her death her SON went into power (to my knowlege there was no election)

Because that assumption is not true. Israel is a big human rights abuser. It is targeted for its acts. yes, Israel is a human rights abuser but the point of the opposition is that countries who's abuses are far more deadly, are being ignored, while Israel is being crushed for everything that it does (not that that is bad, but it should be applied thoroughly).
