President Biden has now become unelectable. Whether he is a victim of dementia or a hit piece, the damage is done. Up until now, there was a chance that the improving economy and former President Trump blocking any action that would improve things at the border, he still had a chance to win. This time, the report referencing his mental fitness and his own misstep after his news conference, have damaged him. He cannot come back from this.
What bewilders me is you have two men who appear to be unfit for the office of POTUS, and neither party can come up with replacements. Former President Trump is unfit because he is carrying a ton of legal and moral baggage. President Biden has now established the perception, whether deserved or not, of mental decline.
There are far better people who could be POTUS. I could stand in the city centre of any town in the US, with my eyes closed, and throw a rock and hit somebody who would make a better president. What is wrong with present day Americans that they would support either of these gentlemen?

I understand your position on abortion but there are millions of American women who will disagree with you. I am guessing you are male as am I , but I won't judge them until I walk 1.6 Kilometres in their shoes. As for being gay, it was God's choice to make them gay or trans, so who am I to challenge the creation of God?

With regards to the border, you have millions of people who will risk their lives just getting to the border. They feel they have nothing to lose, so Border Patrol and Customs won't be able to stop them. What we have seen to date is just the beginning. When you have a mass of people charging across the border, you won't be able to turn them back.

So, while the border is insoluble, Biden is embracing freedom of choice for citizens, even though he is senile. Are you against freedom? Trump is also in mental decline. Former President Trump won't do anything about the border, and he will sell out Ukraine which will lead to Holodomor 2.0.

When the American voters elect former President Trump, they can't come back and say they didn't know what they are getting. They know exactly who they are voting for. One is a con man in mental decline and legal peril, the other is also in mental decline. TheAmericans will get what they deserve. Unfortunately, the rest of us have no say and we don't deserve what the Americans are going to foist on us. If Americans think these two senile old men are the best and the brightest they have, we are marching into perilous times. What is wrong with Americans?

You really don't know how this works. Each case is stringently assessed before a candidate can have surgery. Blockers also require assessment. A kid can't just walk into a pharmacy and buy some puberty blockers.

It has been labled on this forum that this situation is a mental disorder. It isn't, but it is a real condition. It is a situation that must be treated. The most effective treatment by far has been gender re-assignment surgery. Being transgender is different from conventional cross dressing. Cross dressing is a choice. Being transgender is a condition you are born with. So far, the only viable treatment is surgery.
The cause of the frequency of suicidal behaviour is the result of a lack of support from family and friends and the individual having to deal with a situation they do not understand. That is why it is essential that children learn about gender issues before they actually have to face them Knowledge is power.

Wasn't "stay in Mexico" ruled illegal?" You are probably correct but if a person manages to place a foot on US soil, and claims asylun or refugee status, the law says you cannot turn them back until their claim has been processed and investigated. What do you propose the military do?
This is a serious problem that Canada will have to deal with in the near future. It is time for the international community to revisit the laws regarding refugees. The problem with that, of course, is you can have all the laws you want but if you have a critical mass of people pushing through the border, there is no way to stop them. The only way to deal with the problem is to prepare to accommodate them, because they have no where else to go.

Good point about the attention. There still isn't much of a mechanism to close the border to illegal crossing while keeping it open for trade and legal traffic, including refugee claiments and asylum seekers.

You make it sound like using another name in school is tantamount to child molesting. We are just talking about a name. Most teenagers tell their parents as little as possible.
In the interest of inconsistancy, the only people teenagers have less respect for than their parents is their teachers. Kids are basically immune to teachers influence. Yes, there are the class sucks, but most students hold their teacher to be objects of ridicule. The only people who can influence teenagers are other teenagers.

Part of the new policies in Alberta and Saskatchewan concerns names and pronouns. Why is it an issue if a student asks the teacher to address the student using a particular name and pronoun. It is not something that is irreversable. It is a question of a person's personal choice and is nobody else's business. It is something that concerns only the student and the teacher. Does government have the right to take away a person's freedom of choice?

First, it will be the Democrats who will be upset because they could have prevented it by nominating a more electable candidate. Then it will be all those MAGA cultists who will chew the carpet in disappointment when President Trump takes root at his golf resort and doesn't do anything.
To paraphrase that little ditty, "The USA can kiss my a$$, I've got the POTUS job at last."
5 million illegal immigrants storming across the border, not his problem. President Trump won't care. He will just blame President Biden and Secretary Clinton for everything and play golf until sunset.
