I lean towards to the Conservatives. But I think I'm a Red Tory on some issues. In the 2004 election, I would have voted for Harper, because I think Canada needed a change. I didn't like the campaign of fear by the Liberals. The Liberals didn't win the election, but the Conservatives lost it.

For St. John's West, it was PC 17 years, because of Mr. Crosbie. St. John's East it was Jim McGrath.

Fox is very American and right wing. Sean Hannity once said that "Canada is a left wing social basketcase, what kind of friends are they?"

Howard Dean screwed himself with the "screaming" speech he had a couple of month ago. When Bush says a speech, you get the idea of him really talking to you. His speeches may not be the elite kind, but he can get his message across. When Kerry says a speech, you get the feeling that he i sayig the speech, not talking to you.

It's their choice if they want a pay-raise. A job of a politican is only four-years, if they get elected once. They have to make a good earning in fouryears, if they get defeated in the next election.

Maybe the local gov't doesn't the money or interest.
