  4. Most of the power for electric cars can come from the sun using 18th century technology the stirling engine combined with parabolic mirrors in California they will power 1 million homes this way by 2010. I think we will start to see more home generation with devices like the Whispergen either conected to natural gas or bio fuels wich means you don't need to be hoocked to the grid at all. Best part about stirling technology is it's 38% ificiency compaired to the gas engine of 26%. With electric engines you don't need oil or lubricants this will create a less demand for oil and gas. I have been experimanting generating 800 watts of power with my steam engine powered by a solar collector, we also use it for "free" hot water and heating. Best part you can now sell up to 1 kw of power back to the grid, if you like.

  9. Im just wondering if sets Precedent? is central to legal analysis and rulings in countries that follow common law like the United Kingdom and Canada. Even in the civil law system of the Canadian province of Quebec, the precedent is respected and esteemed to various degrees. In some systems precedent is not binding but is taken into account by the courts. Could Precedent be used as a defence to regain assets seized under Canada's anti-gang laws? Allot of money is tied up,
  10. How bout these bad boys made by StrirlingEnergy called the sun catchers. 1 of them can power 10 homes! and a field of them can power a city! with a electric car you'll never need to be hooked to the grid again or ever see another gas station. ever. http://www.stirlingenergy.com/ within 2 years they say 1 million homes will be powered by the Sun Catcher in the United states/ and Canada should jump on board.

  13. I'm interested to know more about this combined unit of Canadian /US soldiers. I know we had a Canadian General in Iraq also but only because he had American citizenship and went to fight for the Americans. All the articule sais is they used US ammunition and not if it was a joint Canadian/US millitary unit. If this was Liberal funded and aproved ill look at them as Tyrants the same. Need to know more.
  14. Show some proof they hated Canadians before 911, you can't because it is not there. It was the US involvement with the mujahedeen by supplying them weapons for the soviet war in afghanistan. With mujahedeen leaders unable to agree on a structure for governance, chaos ensued, with constantly reorganizing alliances fighting for control of ill-defined territories, leaving the country devastated. You need understand the root of the war and Canada had nothing to do with it until Harper chose to INVADE not peacekeeping but full blown war, a war that will never end. Harpers a Bush wannabe Tyrant,
  15. 17. little Texas Alberta Calgary Conservative Candidate Says Crime Caused By 'Newcomers to the country'! Richardson is quoted as saying many crimes aren't committed by people who "grew up next door" and immigrants aren't as law-abiding. "Canada accepts so many refugees, for example. These are people that have had a very difficult life from whence they came. If you’ve been in a refugee camp, then you live day-to-day. And those are troubled people. They come here and, well, it’s easy to take advantage of people that are trying to help. [...] “Particularly in big cities, we’ve got people that have grown up in a different culture. And they don’t have the same background in terms of the stable communities we had 20, 30 years ago in our cities… and don’t have the same respect for authority or people’s person or property.” Lee Richardson Calgary Centre Conservative "Talk to the police. Look at who's committing these crimes," added Richardson, the Tory candidate in Calgary Centre. "They're not the kid that grew up next door."

  25. … NDP Leader Jack Layton took aim at the Conservatives for creating “the largest deficit we have seen in the history of Canada.” “What do they have to show for it? There have been 400,000 people thrown out of work. There should at least be some results for the steps that they have taken, but there are not any,” Layton said.
