  1. The answer my friend,is because you voted liberal. When people need help, and I was there at one time,it should be available. The liberal philosophy is though, everyone should be entitled, keeps those votes coming in.Do you Liberal supporters just refuse to see what is quite obvious to the 60% of Canadians who did not vote liberal?
  2. Here is the simple solution. Tell Quebec what they are getting from the ROC,tell them to compare it to what the other provinces receive. If they still feel that their higher percentage of federal money is not enough, then maybe a trial separation is in order, without the attached purse strings the Bloc think should be attaahed to the ROC if they leave.
  3. Ms,what do you think of the beheaded Americans families having an inquiry into what happened, should Canadians put as much effort into making sure these families get as much attention in the Canadian press as someone suing us for 10 million dollars is.I guess an American life is worrth less in your way of thinking. Are you sure you are not a liberal?Come on now, come clean, nobody will think any less of you.
  4. I guess no Liberal voters actually checked in to any stats on the cost of voting the liberals in again. Does that mean you agree,or you won't complain until you see it affect your pocket ?Either way,the liberals will be free to spend, spend, and spend on everything except the basics, starting with healthcare again probably being the victim, but it is easy to blame the Provinces that way.
  5. LOL.,but no.The polls should be halted 6 months before any election, let Canadians vote on the real issues, instead of being sheep once again and voting as the polls dictate.
  6. With another liberal win so close to Canada Day,did any other Canadians other than liberal voters feel in the mood to celebrate. In my area, this has to have been the most lack lustre Canada Day I can remember. Did anyone else feel or see it this way?
  7. So the west wants out of Confederation,eh. Well thank you very much Mr. Trudeau,Mr. Mulroney,Mr. Chretien, and Mr.Martin.As always,a special thank you to the piggys in the pork barrel voters from Ontario, and the leaders of the Quebec movement, sharing the pork barrel with the Ontario piggys.
  8. Only two reasons the Conservatives lost. The first,Maritime Canada, afraid of losing the liberal handouts.I guess they like the kept mistress feeling. The second ,Ontario, the province with their heads still up their ass. Even without one seat from Quebec, the tories would have won a majority. The problem, bought Canadians from Ontario will except corruption from the liberals,as long as they are on the receiving end.Must be learning from their Maritime and Quebec counterparts.
  9. Change their name to NDCP.NO Damn Chance Party.
  10. I agree with you pf,but an overzealous desk jockey would be expected given the time frame of the incident. There are alot of whacked court decisions being handed out these days, whether it is the judge,or political correctness in order to keep their career,I haven't determined.
  11. lol. There will be no support from the conservatives, because they[the liberals] have not had a right point of view since P.E.Trudeau was elected in 1968.I'm not sure, but from what I've heard and read,Pearson hadn't any either. There will also be no support from the NDP either, even they aren't as far left as the liberals. There is always Quebec ,the playground for liberal mp's and pm's, and favorite retirement home for past liberal pm's,a place where they can spend money like it was growing on taxpayer trees.
  12. Sounds like a good reason not to carry dual papers if you go back to a country where they might treat you as one of their own.The nerve of those democratic loving friends of Canada. No wonder the liberals won this election. Any other party will,if they want to win an election, have to re-educate about 41%of the population.LOL
  13. BS.Canadians want a good healthcare system, the only point you are correct on. The problem is,the liberals have a hard time after elections remembering that they said healthcare was #1. Their priorities were, still are,and will remain,Quebec, national bilingualism, softness on crime, disregard for the working middle class, disregard for the west, and disregard for Canada's once proud place on the world stage.
  14. Give me a break! As I pointed out before, the whole issue was brought on by carrying dual citizenship papers. He brought this on himself, albeit by the Canadian government allowing persons to hold dual papers. Does this give him the right to sue the Canadian taxpayer for 10 million dollars because he can't decide what country he wants to call home? No Canadian tortured him,no Canadian forced him to go back to Syria,no Canadian held him captive. His homeland of Syria put him under lock and key. Is his wife running for office in Syria to improve human rights,I don't think so. Is she running here to improve the life of the average Canadian, maybe, but in any regard,it will cost us 10 million dollars, perhaps her interest in the Canadian people is not that genuine.
  15. The plan from Harper was to cut taxes for all Canadians,to stimulate new business and hence, more taxes from more available sources. What salary range do you classify a rich Canadian, because the liberals and ndp must think I'm filthy rich.
  16. Oh,so now it is a few government employees. The original case was against the Canadian [liberal]government, hence the Canadian taxpayer, who she so wanted to serve as an NDP. This would not have happened if he had Canadian[only]citizenship. So,a husband ,whose wife is running for public office to do what is best for all Canadians,is suing those very people for 10 million dollars, you don't see what she has to do with it. You are not that gullible are you?Oh,wait ,you could be,you voted NDP,did you not?
  17. There were no votes on any real issues except by the conservatives. Southwestern Ontario still have their heads up their ass, with their hand stuck out to collect Liberal handouts. Quebec has their hand out, although they say the Bloc won because they can't be bought by the liberals, but where has all the money sent there gone. I haven't followed the maritimes, but from what I can gather,Harper told them he would let them control their own resouces, harder work than collecting an allowance from the liberals,I guess.
  18. My point is,and you just justified it more by your last post, why is she running for elected office to serve the Canadian people, and to serve means you should do it by being fiscally responsible if you can,all the while contemplating a 10 million dollar lawsuit against the government,in essence, the taxpayer she is vowing to work for. What is your point?
  19. Let's call in Dalton "I won't raise your taxes" from Ontario. Another great liberal, who is so very good at budgeting without increased costs to the working taxpayer.NOT! His knowledge of knowing what the books say, would be very beneficial to the fed libs, they could lie once again and still look like they are working on behalf of the average working Canadian.
  20. Does anybody know, now that she will not be a member of parliament for the NDP,are she and her husband still going to sue the Canadian government for 10 million in taxpayers dollars?
  21. This is why the liberals are in power. They get votes from people like this topic starter, and where did he get the facts, from a box of liberal cracker jacks I would guess. On election day,my neighbour invited me over.He asked who I thought was going to win.I said it should be very close, but it is anybody's guess, but my choice would be for a less corrupt party than we have now. HIs response was,the conservatives won't win, look what Mike Harris did to healthcare. My response was, well,I don't think I should put it in print.
  22. Some not until it is too late.
  23. If he intends to side with the liberals to get what he wants, then yes he should resign.Otherwise,I think he should should stay and fight for what he believes in,and accept what he can win. I found him effective on the CBC debate,so he should debate for his issues, not side with the libs.
  24. I would like to forget the east west conflict in this country. Problem is,the Liberal party that started it is still in power, and in true Liberal fashion, they won't correct their mistakes, because doing so would admit they were wrong in many of their policies, and they will never admit error on their part.
  25. Can we afford another Quebec,or would the liberals dump Alberta as a bad investment?
