      Agreed. As a majority government there is no excuse such as having had to pander to other parties. The policies are theirs and their alone and they will be judged on them accordingly.

      Yet many want the FPTP system abolished which will almost certainly result in perpetual minority governments.

      That's a different issue Boges. Then it's a given that the parties have to work together and we would expect more seats from the fringe parties and Canadians of all stripes would be represented in Parliament. I'm talking about the current electoral system when I say it's a good outcome.
