God kills every human on the planet at some point or another. So not only is he an abortionist but also a murderer as well by your thinking. I'm not arguing from a religious stance. I just think we should err on the side of life as opposed to death. Who are we to decide who should live or not?

My personal belief is that it a persons life begins at conception. At point (a) the cells are only those of the male or female but at (b the cells have fused to become a new person. The point that human rights should apply is a bit grayer because of the fact that there are 2 humans involved (mother and fetus). I think some middle ground like about 6 months or so might be the time to apply human rights to the child. I think that would be a reasonable compromise.

Yes. Some sort of middle ground may be the best answer. One that gives choice to women up to a point but takes the child into account after a certain stage of development.

IMO it does matter if it is "human" because if it is then "human rights" should apply to it. In Canada we apply "human rights" to people such as mass murderers that would be executed in many other countries. We have armies of leftists in Canada willing to go to bat for mass murderers in the name of "human rights". But in the case of an unborn human we make a convenient omission in our "human rights" philosophy. Don't you think we should be more supportive of an innocent unborn child than a convicted mass murderer?

OK. Babies, fetuses and embryos are all human. Prior to being born they have no rights. If we are to call ourselves defenders of human rights shouldn't we be defending the human rights of the unborn? I could ask you the reverse: Babies, fetuses and embryos are all human, so at which stages of development should the being's rights be denied?

Individual rights for the baby is pro-life. Is it not? I'm starting to wonder about you deniers of human rights. Human rights seems to be only for those you approve of. You don't believe in human rights according to your reasoning. A fetus IS human with NO rights. A dedicated leftist like myself believes in human rights for all(not just a select group).
