I not arguing for "life after death". Death is a finality if you believe in it. I am suggesting that birth is simply a phase in our consciousness. We were alive and sentient for at least months before actual birth but have no recollection of it. Even for most people being a baby and toddler are sketchy memories. Yet we were building experiences and memories during those periods, we have forgotten. Our memories fade and still our experiences are what we are. Our thoughts exist and even when we choose to go to sleep or we choose to die. Our thoughts carry on. The sum of our self in this consciousness is in our thought process - not our bodies. Yet our Spirit the God-Self, exists both within and without. If we are part of that ~something~ whether we call that God or the scientific world we cannot be separated from it. Like energy we exist and will continue to exist as Spirit even if we choose death and drop from consciousness in our dream of death. Being aware means that we accept our beginnings. We did not begin at birth. Our DNA proves that. Nor will we end at death since both birth and death are delusions. So we transgress the birth-death limitation we have placed on ourselves and choose life as it exists in the real world. So the question really is do you consider yourself the dreamer or the dreamed? Being both you can accept the inevitability of death you created and blame "nature" or God for your own choices. Even in the scientific world we have free choice. There are no random acts that we have not dreamed before they have happened.

You are arguing for death - the "ultimate" inevitability of life. Our experience i much more than just an expression of life and death. Intention changes everything.

What you share with another is nothing but delusion - even their brains spilling out is a dream you both have created and manifested. A schizophrenic sees things that are atrocious but that does not make then any more real then your eye witness account of a nightmare. You share death. You are just like all the other goats that trample the earth and fall off the cliff. It is nothing new nor is it suprising you can't understand.

Ever been in a fire fight where your comrades get whacked one by one? How did YOU survive the onslaught? You "believe" that you have seen someone die but have not born witness to the actual death. Maybe someone's guts were blown apart beside you but all you really saw was a judgment in your mind that confirmed your buddy's belief he was dead. People with the will to live survive long past the predictions or even past your ephemeral judgment of death. Years ago doctors judged death to be at the time the heart stopped. Years before that if you stopped breathing you were a goner. Today it is brain activity. Yet in all the years our judgment of what constitutes death has changed, it is still not a final declaration - an absolute certainty. Death is only a perception believed by at least two people. If you believe you will die then you might want to say your good-byes now since no one knows when they will bite the bullet. However, believe in life and you will live. And though we may finally decide our bodies no longer serve us, our intention - our being - lives on. Our cells and our DNA survive and the molecules that once made up our bodies become other things. Anyone who believes in death is delusional. The Truth and Reality is it doesn't exist.

Your inability to understand is what I expected. However, I provided an answer for those that could understand and were willing to look beyond their own prejudice. Ever see someone die?

Cite please. GM is in trouble because they are the major shareholder of GMAC which had been playing with below prime mortgages. They have been producing and selling cars - even as this past summer - with record profits, using the same workforce as they have had for 20 years. The issue IS greed. BTW my mother-in-law is still collecting monthly dividends from both her GM and GMAC stock. Seems that GM AND GMAC may not be in that much trouble after all. But if the government is giving away free money.....then why not.....?

We all perform miracles everyday. The manifestation of our intention IS miraculous. We are born into mortality with a goal of death. Everything we do is geared to that finality. We may fancy life along the way but the ultimate goal is death. Yet there is no one who can remember a time they were "unborn". Physical life and death is a delusion. Once we get beyond the notion that our life is about death, we no longer live in mortality but arise to The Resurrection. We are all capable of raising the dead by changing our perceptions. Anyone who has had a near-death experience knows that life is in the Spirit, not in the body. Anyone can save another by refusing to believe in and confirm their delusions. Those who believe they are dead cannot be saved. But those who have hope can be saved.

Caledonia Needs Your Help
charter.rights replied to Caledonia's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
The framer of the petition is an amateur politician and a professional vigilante . Like Gary McHale their whole purpose in being in Caledonia is to stir up crap. They are not interested in "justice" or in equality. They change their mind about issues like McHale changes his Depends. I might have agreed that perhaps we could look at the OPP and Fantino in light of the post Ipperwash Report. While the OPP had claimed there were measures put in place to curb racism and violent responses to native protests, they have demonstrated over the last 3 years at Caledonia and Deseronto, that violence and racism are still very much at the centre of their aboriginal policy. And their chief policy maker Fantino, is not beyond lying and threatening violence in order to achieve an end. If someone other than McHale or his band of violent instigators were to put up a petition looking into these kinds of things, I would have been inclined to sign it. But knowing it comes from Ken Hewitt who is a close friend and who I understand may be financially supporting McHale is like trying to force milk down the throat of a lactose intolerant projectile-vomit baby. The after affects of getting involved with either of them would have the province sick from both ends. In any case, even if they do get ther 10,000 signatures that Toby Barrett, MPP says he needs before he is willing to present it (which I doubt) it is highly unlikely that the Premier or the Lieutenant Governor would waste the tax-payers money on something that was created by McHale (who as already cost the taxpayers $millions). Once the media dies down on this it will be as dead as McHale's thinking process. -
What IS faith reveals itself in works. If we have faith in God do we do it blindly? Or do we confirm with His Works? Similarly, my faith has no value unless I show it in my own works. When I heal the sick or raise from the dead I both confirm not only my own faith but the works of God.

James 2: 3-12 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. James 2: 14-20 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Jame 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. And since Mr. Canada sows discord, disharmony and santimony then is faith is in those things that attempt to destroy people and sow chaos. His faith is not in Christ but in the ways of Satan, his master and mentor. For death is where he comes from being without good works to demonstrate a good faith. Let him alone. Satan relishes his misery in company and dies a death 10 times over when no one will entertain him.

Sure....what ever you say can't be trusted. But I still suspect that you did. And I also suspect that you hold other monikers here under reserve for the next time you get might get booted. All this from someone who claims he never hides behind fake names and always uses his real name. -
Caledonia Needs Your Help
charter.rights replied to Caledonia's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
"Justice" is already happening in Caledonia. The OPP are no longer being used as pawns to do the government's dirty works. The Supreme Court is making ruling after ruling saying that not only do natives have a right to reclaim their lands and stop development, but that injunctions cannot be used to defend 3rd party interests when the Crown has failed to consult. The courts have ruled that severe penalties for protest or other actions that led to violence cannot be used when the offender is not a risk to his own community. The government and the municipalities have their backs against the wall. We must negotiate and accommodate in a conciliatory way. We can no longer push and pave over lands under claim and must now find an amicable way to settle our differences. We'll have to swallow our pride and our egos to find solutions but at the end of the day Natives are right. Essentially the courts, in view the fact the people like Gary Mchale got punched in the face trying to stir up shit, are saying he deserved it. And the Shawn Brants of this world play an important part in Natives demanding change to our violent and unjust ways of the past. -

I "suspect" you have been kicked a couple of times. That is not against the rules. However, presenting a name might be and I'm not as foolish as you to fall into that trap. As for flaming and trolling, I suggest you reread the rules again since that seems to be your M.O., not mine. -

Or you should have been permanently banned under your other name. That would have solved a major part of your problem. -

Louis Hall and Ely Parker aren't "white men". But I see from your racist implication that because they are authorities on native history and culture they don't count. -
How to end racial and social inequality
charter.rights replied to FreznoBob's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The purpose of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is not to make everyone equal. It is to balance the rights of people in our collective. It is only when we find equity in society that we truly have equality under the law. Our class system IS supported by Corporatism which is primarily supported by government. While there are opportunities to rise above one's station in life, it is much harder for those outside of the Corporatist club. Being born into privilege almost always guarantees staying with the power and privilege. Doors are opened for the rich (the extremely wealthy - not just the higher income earners) that are not otherwise available for anyone else. -

Auto-thefts have nothing to do with Caledonia or the lands claims. Your attempts to link them together and then generalize that Six Nations are lawless IS racism....especially since I know in particular with you where it comes from. When you stop bashing gays and lesbians, women who have had abortions and Natives then I might believe that you don't agree with skin-heads and nazi types. But right now you exemplify what a typical racist does - promote hatred and bigotry at every opportunity. -

Oh you're such a fairy in make believe land.....you sound just like Gary McHale for gawd's sake! THE LAW: The Charter of Rights and Freedoms MUST be complied with. NO regulation or domestic law can supersede the Charter unless there is reasonable justification. The Supreme Court of Canada says there is no reasonable justification for developing land that natives have an interest in UNLESS and UNTIL they have been properly consulted and their concerns accommodated in a conciliatory way. The Supreme Court of Canada ruled that in holding the government to their obligation to consult AND negotiate, natives have the right to protest, occupy and stop up development. THAT is THE LAW. Natives have no more rights than we do EXCEPT that the Charter of Rights and Freedoms restricts us and allows government to impose reasonable limits. WE screwed up our hunting and fishing to such a degree that we can no longer fish and hunt without extensive regulation and controls. WE screwed up the Atlantic fishery to such a degree that government had to step in and stop us from wiping out the cod. WE screwed up the forestry to such a degree that the government has to control and regulate forests in Canada. We screwed up! And so the government can impose reasonable limits on what we do, subject to our freedoms defined under the Charter. We don't have land and property rights defined in the Charter. Native people do have land rights protected because it was a promise the government made to allow our ancestors and immigrants to come to live here. Besides WE screwed up our care of the land and so we no longer have any right to take care of it exclusively. So now the Supreme Court of Canada says that natives can protest and occupy and estopple. THAT is THE LAW. And when any Binbrook skin-head pal rabble rouser shows up with his gang of violent Clownedonians to protest the protesters, McHale and his fairy boys have no rights, nor can they force, beg, plead or chide the police into doing anything. Natives ARE RIGHT within and under THE LAW. So yes your hate AND racism is evident. And trying to complain about natives breaking the law when it is in fact our government who is culpable is just dumb. But I understand your thinking...hate can blind you to what virtue there is in others. -
Your point is taken. However, when the Church stays silent over such atrocities, or condones or protects the perpetrators, then yes it condemns all Christians, or in the case of racism all white people.

Faith is dead without works. Show us your miracles and then we can tell if your faith is true.

Wrong. Native people for the most part want compliance with the law - the chance to negotiate, approve and benefit development on their land, or on lands they have an interest in. Your simplistic point of view would quickly solve the problem of lands claims but create a brand new vigilante attack on native people and release the underlying racism that you all hold onto in secret. Negotiation is what it is. The government does not take it serious when they make a $25 million offer for a trust they know using their own figures comes to at least $500 million. Once they start getting serious about making honest and fair offers they will find settlements pop into place one by one. The problem is that the government refuses to come to the take with an eye for settlement. I know for a fact from a former negotiator that Harper's directive has been to stall talks at any cost, drive up the costs of lawyers and meetings until negotiation becomes a simple we'll give you $10 for what is worth $10 million. They are hoping that lands claims will just go away, or if they stall them long enough then they become someone else's problem. As long as they have this kind of attitude people like you and me will be stuck in inconvenient long lines as highways and developments are blocked while they take their case to the streets. The government so far has ignored the Supreme Court and refuses to move towards honest consultation and accommodation. You want to complain about delays I suggest that you take it to your MP. -

You are of course talking about the Canadian government since the only thing native people want (and the Crown demands) is that Canada comply. [68] On this final point I could cite almost 20 years of Supreme Court of Canada decisions, from Sparrow to Mikisew, or the eloquent Report of the Ipperwash Inquiry (Queen’s Printer for Ontario, 2007). However, I choose to quote the equally thoughtful observation by the motion judge near the end of his reasons in support of the interlocutory injunction he issued on September 27, 2007: "I fully recognize that this case engages complex relations between the Crown and aboriginal peoples. I also recognize that respect for consultation lies at the heart of resolving such disputes even when certainty over the legitimacy and extent of the claim is unresolved. As the Supreme Court of Canada has noted in Mikisew Cree First Nation v. Canada (Minister of Canadian Heritage), [2005] 3 S.C.R. 388 and in Haida, supra, conciliation between aboriginal and non-aboriginal peoples, and their respective claims, interests and ambitions is the fundamental objective of these negotiations." Frontenac Ventures Corporation v. Ardoch Algonquin First Nation, 2008 The Supreme Court of Canada has consistently instructed the government to negotiate as a requirement under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and now confirms that protest, occupation and estopple are legal avenues for natives to compel the government to exercise its duty to consult. It goes further in suggesting that third party interests may also be delayed and affected where the Crown has not properly consulted. And finally since the Supreme Court now sees accomodation to mean reconciliation it becomes clearer that Native interests cannot be sloughed aside - even where corporate or private interests are concerned. Your hate for native people is evident but that does not give you license to claim that native people, or Six Nations people specifically are lawless because they hold up development. It is their right and I'm sure it will become more intense in the future if the Crown refuses to negotiate faithfully. -

Perhaps Redjacket had something pertinent to say to the Jesuit on the subject of religion as he encountered it in 1810: Brother! You say there is but one way to worship and serve the Great Spirit. If there is but one religion, why do you white people differ so much about it? Why not all agree, as you can all read the book? Brother! We do not understand these things. We are told that your religion was given to your forefathers and has been handed down, father to son. We also have a religion, which was given to our forefathers, and has been handed down to us, their children. We worship that way. It teaches us to be thankful for all the favors we received, to love each other, and to be united. We never quarrel about religion." "Brother! We do not wish to destroy your religion, or to take it from you. We only want to enjoy our own. Brother! You say you have not come to get our land or our money, but to enlighten our minds. I will now tell you that I have been at your meetings and saw you collecting money from the meeting. I cannot tell what this money was intended for, but suppose it was for your minister; and if we should conform to your way of thinking, perhaps you may want some from us. Brother! We are told that you have been preaching to the white people in this place. These people are our neighbors. We are acquainted with them. We will wait a little while, and see what effect your preaching has upon them. If we find it does them good and makes them honest and less disposed to cheat Indians, we will then consider again what you have said. Brother! – Great numbers of black coats have been among the Indians. With sweet voices and smiling faces, they offered to teach them the religion of the white people. Our brethren in the East listened to them. They turn from the religion of their fathers, and look up the religion of the white people. What good has it done? Are they more friendly, one to another, than we are? No, Brother! They are a divided people; we are united. They quarrel about religion; we live in love and friendship. Besides, they drink strong waters, and they have learned how to cheat and how to practice all the other vices of the white people, without imitating their virtues. Brother! – We do not worship the Great Spirit as the white people do, but believe that the forms of worship are indifferent to the Great Spirit. It is the homage of sincere hearts that pleases him, and we worship him in that manner. Brother! –If you white people murdered the Saviour , make it up yourselves. We had nothing to do with it. If he had come among us, we should have treated him better”
