Almost all of Europe has a higher atheist population, some European countries have much tougher immigration laws for arabs, the reason the u.s. is targeted is because of its connection with Israel (another country that bully and murders innocent ppl and treats others around them like prisoners) and because of the u.s. involvement in the middle east, u.s. hands in arab oil, u.s. influence over arab governments etc. Bin Laden has his own politics hes playing but the u.s. is targeted for the two main reasons I listed, thats it ... Do you doubt that money and power are the reasons behind the iraq war ? Do you doubt that american corporations and government have lied to ppl around the world to get access to money ? Do you doubt that american corporations and government have backed corrupt groups to further u.s. power in different areas ? Funny how shocking things sound when u remove the spin and dressing that modern american media puts on even the smallest facts about the country ...

No, they dont like womens freedom etc but they didnt attack because of it, they attacked because of american meddling in middle east affairs, supplying weapons and training to different groups, oil deals, etc, they see jewish and american involvement in the middle east as the reason they are held back as a society, now thats not true, the truth lays somewhere in between, american meddling IS what caused the attacks, to americans its just business, they dont have ethical boundaries when it comes to making money, lie, steal, cheat, as long as they get the money its ok, meanwhile arabs see it as america wanting to take over the middle east, they see it as a religious war also, both sides are full of ridiculous ideas and because both their populations are so poorly informed they both see the other as ultimate evil, the fact is if the u.s. was fair in its dealings then it wouldnt have such a rotten reputation ...

The u.s. was attacked because of its bullying in other countries, what does that have to do with Canada? Sorry but if someone runs around punching other ppl and they get slugged what does that have to do with the neighbour? Let me illustrate what I am saying ... The u.s. government is the schoolyard bully, the american people are the parent, so when the schoolyard bully goes around hitting other kids and finally one kid punchs back and gives a black eye the parents say "but our child is so kind and innocent, he would never hurt a fly, that vicious, evil child that hit ours, ill teach them a lesson!" so theres Canada, the next door neighbour, watching whats going on when the parent of the bully comes over and says "we need your help, we are a community! bullying is an issue you should help stop!" ... If anything we dropped the ball by not pressuring the u.s. to be a better international citizen, we don't denounce the u.s. enough! and thats allowed them to harm many ppl and thats pushed some ppl to harm them back, no side is right but one side CLEARLY started the aggression and it wasent the terrorists ...

Another popular american nonsense idea is that getting rid of welfare will solve the poverty problem, I always laugh at that one ...

If you had been following the thread (or just looked at the title), you would see why we are specifically referring to Mexicans. Mexicans, even labourers are just as welcome to come to Canada, they have ever right that anyone should, they arent "trouble" thats a bigoted response by very small people with a myopic view of things. America gets criticized because of the fact it causes so much harm in the world, it gets slammed because of ur radical right wing ideologies that hurt ur own people and the lack of any care for ur own society by the general populous, recently I read an article about how strange it is that americans seem to think its wrong to help ppl ... What the percentage though? I know lots of americans who move here because they hate paying premiums for simple things we get for free or because they dont like the gun laws or because they dont like war or because we allow gay marriage or because we have less crime or because we arent headed by a radical right wing war mongerer ... There are Canadians that want what they already have here but also want that extra buck in the states, u can do anything u want for money in the states and for some professions its particularly luring but thats only about the $$$, its not an indication about which country is better, I wouldnt give up my health care to make a dollar more an hour, some Canadians might! Id like to read more about that, It was Bush admin policy NOT to reward contracts to ppl that didnt support their Iraq invasion and we didnt so I would like to see how we are connected there .... If we are then we are WRONG for being there but all of this takes a back seat to the fact that Iraq wasent involved in 911 and the whole thing was cooked up for oil, human life has no meaning to the Bush admin, hell, they have no problem in arresting, holding, torturing, murdering, spying etc and the smokescreen of security really has americans willing to give up their ever right ... Well our economy is one of the best in the G8, correct me if im wrong but its also better then the u.s. ... As for research the u.s. wins for sure, if there is a dollar to be made there are 500 americans running to make it ... Its the same reason the medical industry there is more focused on providing medicine then curing anything, all about the $$$, its the american way ...
