The Conservatives are great at covering their own ass, and it seems like every 10 years or so everyone completely forgets about how the conservatives fucked up and how the people said things just like the topic creator is and then vote for them based on promises that never are fulfilled.

Without religion; boarders (both moral and ethic) would never have been as enforced or even established, creating a tightly bound society. Whether or not you believe in the ideals or not, religion forces you to learn through discipline, and in turn creating a more mature and developed adult.
