There is no way we can resolve the terrorism issue peacefully. Whether it be palestine, Iraq, saudi arabia, iran, north korea, or al queada. They would see any withdrawl of forces as a sign of weakness and a small victory and use to to attack again. In their religious extremism, they believe the sollution to Israel and America is not for us to exist peacefully and their people to exist peacefully, it's for them to exist peacefully and us to NOT EXIST. They would see us all dead because we are Americans. Or because we are Christians. It's racism at it's worst. We can't back down. There is no peaceful way about it. It's us or them. Yeah, military makes a few 'peaceful' muslims more proned to violence and extremism but to withdraw would guarentee our way of civillized existence to lead to extinction. We must defend ourselves. Imagine had Roosevelt stood in front of Congress on Dec 8, 1941 and said we need to pursue this peacefully. We'd be speaking Japanese/German and have swastickers tattooed on our foreheads.....

The only thing that really burns my blood is when I'm told that a bunch of wackos inability to act civillized and discuss their problems results in them being mass murders is the fault of their victims? That's as absurd as saying the Holocaust was the fault of the Jews or the Klu Klux Klan was the fault of African Americans. The Terrorists have their reasons, but engaging the US militarily will be their undoing. If they have a problem, be elected into office and speak at the UN. That's the civillized way. For them to murder 3000 people who ahd NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR PROBLEMS achieves nothing. They've only made life harder for them in the middle east and for those who share their heritage here in the States. Many are instantly viewed as terrorists to prevent possible attacks. I heard a good saying once "It's ok to risk another attack like 9-11 but so long as we don't violate anyone's civil rights...."

Hey louis, The UN makes resolutions against everyone and makes everyone's lives harder. If Israel listened to the UN, the UN would sit there and watch Palestine supported by Iraq and Saudi Arabia march across Israel and kill all the Israelis. They can't afford to pay attention to the UN. No one can. I'm still in favor of disbanding the UN. It's not like they do anything.

So does "Not differentiating those who support terror and those who commit terror" include those who support the supporters? I know a lot of Americans who'd LOVE to go pay a visit to France while armed to the teeth....

Well the difference is this. Clinton redefined 'sexual relations' to suit his needs so it was a white lie. He lied. He told us what he knew was not the truth. Bush: He believed what he said was the truth when he said it. The information turned out to be bad, but that is not his fault. He can't be crawling in ditches spying on the bad guys, he needs to count on the CIA and FBI to do it right and they goofed. Oops. Clinton lied. As far as blaming Clinton: He did NOTHING to prevent terrorism. He bombed an Asprin factory and shot a few missles here and a few there. Bush is going all the way and isn't stopping till we get them. That's why I like a Texan in office. He finishes the job when Clinton only nitpicked at it.

We then proceed to fight about which religion it is considering no one is willing to abandon their own. It'd be great if the world was peaceful, but so long as there is greed, there will be jealousy and therefore, someone always willing to take what you earned. Some will attack to take, others will defend. One day there will be a one world government centered in, ironically enough, Iraq. There will be a one world leader who will demand loyalty. Why don't you enlighten us considering you seem to know everything. I remind you that going into Iraq was PROPOSED BY THE PRESIDENT and PASSED by the SENATE AND HOUSE. The President can't just take the military on a safari whenever he feels like it. There are rules. He went to Congress and the majority of congress gave him the ability to enter Iraq if he saw fit. No one seems to understand that separation of church and state mean that the church can not dictate anything in the state. If i wanna pray in school, that's ok. If I want to discuss my religion in school, that's ok. If I want to study theology in my school, that's ok. What isn't ok is having a Priest, the Pope, a Rabbi, a Minister, a Cleric, or any religious leader tell me I CAN NOT do something. Now do you understand?

I'd have followed what Bush did only instead of having lost troops in Iraq, the areas where Baghdad and other major Iraqi cities are would be recovering from fallout. As would Mecca and other Saudi Arabia cities and Iranian cities. I'd be starring Kim Jong Il down the barrel of an ICBM waiting for him to blink and begin disarming. Your post is good apart from this. The simple fact was that Germany marched a brigade into the Rhineland, and across the river were a hundred French divisions. German commanders were given a sealed envelope to open in case of French resistance. Inside was a piece of paper telling them to retreat and fall back as fast as possible. The British and French could have annihilated Germany in 1934, but the political will was just not there. They believed that concession was the road to peace, and as that road appeared to be open, why risk any level of armed confrontation? That reminds me off the UN not willing to commit to war in Iraq....do whatever it takes for peace....if my historical memory is correct, German then walked across France within a decade of that! The US and England and our allies learn from history, but the UN doesn't.

Black Dog: First off, I watch palestine break peace treaty after peace treaty. Some religion of peace. They are terrorists. Sadly, both palestinians that ARE peaceful get thrown in the crowd of terrorists. Israel was there. It was called Israel after 1948, but the people have been there. The first four books of the Bible discuss how the Israelis arrived. (I'm not trying to force religion here, a lot of those books is purely historical records)

Hey Nova, I never really watched Israel before....on 9-11 I see this big fat palestinian dancing in the streets. Since that day, I have had no sympathy for palestine. And I never will. Israel, although it may have it's troubles, will survive. They have survived there for millenia and will continue to do so until the end of time.
