  1. http://www.abc.net.au/farnorth/stories/s1732635.htm?backyard. My condolences to his wife and 2 children for Mr Irwins' untimely but not unexpected death. A lot of people will remember him for the wrong reasons, including a few years back of him feeding a croc with one hand while holding his daughter with the other. This incident seemed cement his reputation as a reckless ,publicity hunting ,macho posturing nut. This is too bad, because i remember him as a man who cared deeply for the animals and the enviroment whose cause he espoused. He loved life. How many of us will be able to say we died doing what we loved? He'll be missed. Crikey!
  2. Find another story to lead with for a few weeks... I'm sure a rich kid goes missing/gets killed everyday somewhere in the world. Add a little lie here and there, make up some 'facts', and presto, you have a perfect headline. I don't believe this shit. All this and they're not going to charge him because the DNA didn't match.Couldn't this being done without all this hoopla of bringing him over here, don't they already have his DNA?
  3. "Everyday occurrence?" You're joking, right? Cutie-pie-award-winning, blond girlchild is ravaged and killed in circumstances that leave little doubt that her killer is a member of her own wealthy family. Family members behave bizarrely, refusing to co-operate with authorities, hiring spin doctors and leading a media blitz during which they meet more often with Larry King than with police investigators. With the crime scene contaminated (by a family member) and the only witnesses to the crime being family members who have circled the wagons, the cops are stymied and eventually abandon the hunt, leaving the murder of a six-year-old girl unsolved, an apparent perfect crime. Everyday occurrence? I think not. The assertion for his arrest is that he supposedly revealed details about the case that were not initially released to the public.Time will tell whether he is just another publicity seeking perv or if he is the final chapter of this bizarre and convoluted case -IG
  4. I was just reading about the arrest in Thailand of a suspect in the murder of Jon-Benet Ramsey case from almost 10 years ago,Geez was it that long ago?,and you could have knocked me over with a feather.I had the father as a pedophile and the mother as an unwilling conspirator and put down they're not being charged in the case as a massively bungled police investigation.Man,if this turns out a righteous arrest i am guilty of swallowing hook, line and sinker the medias' assertion that the parents were guilty from the get go.I believed the media slant.Man I feel Stupid. Anybody else feel similarily duped?
  5. So lets kill more of a religion to protect those of another religion? Come on man, too much genocide talk going on in these forums. I'm all for killing the Hezbollah terrorists, but this spilling muslim blood for the hell of it is just a little over the top no? We're better than the terrorists because we won't sink to their level. People like you show that many of us already have. Israels strategy didn't work, the PM admitted it wasn't the best strategy, they didn't catch or kill any considerable number of Hezbollah. Obviously, it's a failure. So lets try a reasonable idea next time. That's Great,I'm trying to say that Hezbollah deserves to be wiped out, you're trying to say I want all Muslims gone, thanks for deliberately misunderstanding me.
  6. Gee,I thought when i joined this forum that there would be reasoned debate,Good Glory,do you not realize that Hells Ball ahs,my deliberate mispelling ,hides among the civilian population to conduct their attacks, you think they actually care about the people they put in harms way,the more civilians dead the happier they are.
  7. Leave your flippant remarks at the door and offer a solution then. Explain how negotiating with religious fanatics is possible? They don't believe in reason, they believe in faith. Help those who don't understand how diplomacy can work to understand. It is not diplomacy they or us need to understand. It is each other we need to understand. Untill then, people are going to get killed. Today the notion of 'live and let live' is dead. A religion that espouses the destruction of a whole race is not worthy of the designation and the respect that is generally accorded any Faith. There is no peace until much more blood is spilt. Hate will seek to destroy those who by their very existence show them for what they really are,Evil and Hopeless Men.Hezbollah supposedly means'' Party Of God''They are Devils in human skin.
  8. Sure, just as soon as you produce a statement from one of Israel's neighbors saying that they want Israel destroyed. Its not just "a faction" its a very powerful faction directly descended from the founders of modern Israel. As for the reasons for Hezbollah to exist, again have to disagree. Hezbollah are in large part nationalists in a nation with many enemies, Israel is just the most obvious, without Israel Hezbollah would probably exist in some form to fight off the influence of Iran. Kind of ironic really. The situation in the middle east is infinitely more complex then most want to believe. We need a large stone wall with a clean zone of several hundred meters on each side maned by UN troops for a generation or two until the hatred dies. Unfortunately nobody seems patient enough for that. I have a question, maybe naively asked but here goes,Why is Lebanons' Government and by extension, its' Army so weak that it can't expel Hezbollah if it really wanted to?
  9. Tell me,Why does Harper need to show up at all?,all this conference is a giant fundraiser
