Yes, that is true, however he is abusing his position to prop up the oil industry in Canada.

It actually does not say when you can or can't criticize them. May not be allowed to at all even off work hours.

He's been protecting the oil industry. People in his cabinet calling environmental charities "foreign money launderers", they called people who opposed pipelines radicals Gutting envrio regulations in the budget. Gagging scientists. Gagging parks Canada employees. This is all public information.

You would be a dim wit not to connect the dots.

This is like Vic Mackey (The Shield) silencing, arresting, intimdating drug gangs in Farmington, so that the one drug dealer who works for him gets all the money and corners to deal dope. Harper is silencing the scientists, intimdating and silencing the parks canada employees. Doing the same to the environmentalists all for the oil companies. And you have no problem with this cause the government is always right apparently

if im working for parks Canada whos job is to protect and preserve our national parks but oil companies and the government want to run pipelines through parks or near the parks, its my JOB to speak up.

The thing is, the oil sands and pipeline might harm these national parks that the parks employers are supposed to protect and preserve. But they aren't allowed to speak out against the dangers of the pipelines because they are supposed to support the government and government only. Am I getting this right? If so, that is the worst thing a Canadian government will ever have made people do in my opinion.
