Kenney says you can't get EI if you turndown work.
Fletch 27 replied to Boges's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The Liberal Govs of the past have simply promoted stupidity.. A low paying seasonal job ensured that you are un-educated and willing to rely on government handouts.. Its in essences, pre-emtive begging. I am GLAD that this government is discouraging Canadian citizens from relying on "seasonal pandering" and is actually making sure people work, or will work, for a good wage. Im sure Liberals would win an election if they stated that they would make getting EI as simple as a click of the mouse and that they EI payouts would be increased.. Maybe not, we seem to have grown up a little.... -

Do you left leaning wing-nuts not understand what happened at the end of 2008? It was a little tiny thing, it may have gone un-noticed but an FYI, we had a global recession.. What McKay planned prior (as in 2006) for the maritimes is null and void.. We can just spend spend spend.. Plans change. This is not Greece where we simply print money. Why do we need a base out there in the firt place? Now, If i was a left-leaning wing-nut i would pounce on his idea/agreement to install the base in the first place? Who's gonna invade the maritimes?!?!?! -

Ummm how about kids? Or is it "un-canadian" now to expect high-schoolers to have jobs? And,,,,, Roofing and construction is NOT seasonal, nor is "logging" (actually the prime season in Canada is winter when the ground is rock-hard)..... Even Landscapers (intelligent ones) have business throughout the winters... -
Jaycee, I think you mean that thiere is still "Majority support for the strike among the striking students"....

Its sad when people go head-long into a carrer that they know bloody well they will be "out of work" for half a year and EXPECT the EI to cover the other half of the year. Very sad state of affaires for those canadians. Is a shame when they think they are entitled to have a year off with pay.... -
Canada currently sells No oil to China.. There is chinese investment in Oil-sands and ontario green-energy... Fine with that but opening up Canada to Huawei, a chinese extension of our equivalent of the NRC and CSIS is just out of bounds.. Again, do you want them holding your data in "the cloud"?

Ok, I'm a Tory supporter but allowing this Chinese company into Canada and servicing as a cell phone provider/carrier NEEDS to be stopped.. This company has stolen sooo much IP (intellectual property) from Nortel, Alcatel, Cisco, Rim and MANY more.... The LTE protocol prior to Nortels buldge was in their hands and I have 2 years of proof to this (Its now in LG's hands after buying it 2 years prior to openening it) I worked with well over 30 chinese gentlemen and women through the NRC (national research council of Canada) and they ALL took folders of paper (filed patents) and IP to Huawei China after 3 years service.. (They all quit the same week ((within 3 days)) and signed with Huawei (same day) and left on the same plane).. This Chinese company operates the same way around the world and the US and Australia has closed the door to them.. We should as well. How do you feel about a Chinese company holding your data (text, voice and email) given the recent security breaks at both the NRC, provincial servers and federal infrastructure?

Food security of Indigenous Peoples in Canada

This is one-hundred percent BS! I have fished Gods lake many times and can tell you this is untrue when it comes to the "health" of the lake and surrounding areas. The local tribe(s) are very accomodating and benefit greatly from the tourism. "Gods Lake features hundreds of islands, bays and reefs loaded with fish. Many Canadian lodges offer walleye and pike - Gods Lake offers you a Canadian "Grand Slam" of Trophy Lake Trout and Brook Trout as well as the famous Walleye and Pike. Olafson's Gods Lake Lodge's slogan is "Where the Fish Are". Why? Because we are located on a prime section of the lake where shallows meet main lake depths. Our guests won't have to spend all day running around in search of fish. Most of our Trophies are caught within a short boat ride of the lodge" -

You dress like my grandmother... I could spot her a mile away.... Your argument is null and void.. Is that you grandma? PLEASE dont tell me you think thats the same.... really??????? Ok, Now your making up excuses -
Good point! My spelling is horrible.. if its in text or email to friends, as we type so fast but get the point accross.. Its in "the message" and it comes accross.. I dont need, nor care, if i spell color or colour on some on-line page or text... Professional emails or proposals? Picture perfect and in either UK, Japanese or US grammar... Grammar is taking a departure of massive scales since the adoption of "FB", text and BBM.. The internet is the internet, and where ideas and grammar die a thousand deaths... Who cares... Its the internet,, I wont live or die by it and no slacker would.. I hope the kids understand the use or application of grammar when needed.. Im not worried about spelling as much as i am "punctuation"... You will notice my punctuation is perfect.. Love, Fletch

Call upon the Conservatives to split the budget bill
Fletch 27 replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Im very sorry, i realise im not Jack Layton and cant talk BS or lie out of both sides of my mouth but the fact is.... Canada has voted in a majority after eons of a minority... Thats a "trend".. a big trend.. I have made no personal attacks other than stating the obvious.. Comments as "While the Conservatives have a majority, so they can pass whatever bills they want, this contradicts their claim to openness and transparency" are simply stupid.. Did you read it? Love, Fletch -

"To me it just seems like a stupid unnecessary bill that just opens the Conservatives up for more criticism about cracking down on dissent and criticism. It just perpetuates the sentiment that they can't handle opposition" It makes the owners of the destructed innocent companies easier to claim damages... Your view is twisted beyond belief. Please post your address and I will demonstrate how bad an innocent victim can feel..... You would have 300 odd balls at your door protesting this and that with bricks, flowers, beaver-pelts and snow-balls.. EVERYONE has a cause that you didnt even know you supported . -

Private/public real estate company (a bank) i "deal with" conducted a poll ONLY in 416 and 57 percent support Rob Ford.. out of 5,000 people (thats more than a Harris poll...) A poll for indicators of direction for Toronto in 2013-15.. The company upped its direction.. Its amazing what a poll involving a larger pool will show... DAMN you FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We are very sorry Canada, Look what they made us do.. We dug and dug and dug for millions in investogation and nuthin! Look what the Torries made us spend".. Typical...
-
Boggles the mind?? Its pretty simple.. there is NO case for Elections Canada to warrant anything of the such.. This is simply a case of a lone Liberal trying to mislead the publics opinion.. and i dont mean Bob Rae..
