True, to be honest I was actually very comfortable with a Conservative minority and a Liberal opposition with the NDP and Bloc.. the idiots just had to ruin that and give us what we have today
-
Chretien was a weasel and crook, Harper is a weasel and crook .. why do we keep electing weasels and crooks?
-
well, as long as he doesn't govern like harper he's at least an improvement..I can't stand how all kinds of Mps get away with everything harper has let them get away with..even Mulroney kicked his mps out of the party when he found them doing something they shouldn't..that is my biggest dislike about harper Another thing I don't like is he shuns science and facts...I hope Kenney is the opposite..that would go a long way with me
-
I agree.. with the Bill C-30, the Old Age Pension,..but I think we're starting to see them breakdown how many more lies can they tell and get proven wrong before they totally break? we've never seen the cpc like this before
-
Well am I wrong? The CPC in an attempt to do damage control have completely lost all control
-
So lets get this straight..The Conservatives claimed the Liberals were the only party outsourcing its calls from America (which was a lie, as they didn't outsource any calls from America), and now its clear that the Conservatives used American call centres and asked them to mask their calls so it looks like it came from Canada HAHAHAHA Oh my God .. they are lucky its friday because this hypocrisy will likely get buried and forgotten by monday you just cant make up this kind of incompetence Now everything the conservatives say I am going to think the exact opposite

This is exactly why we don't believe a damn thing Harper and the Conservatives claim..its all LIES Hey conbots, lets see you spin this http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2012/03/02/pol-weston-election-calls.html The prime minister and his parliamentary secretary, Peterborough MP Dean Del Mastro, claimed in the Commons that the Liberals were the only party that used American calling firms. “We’ve done some checking,” the PM said, and “we’ve only found that it was the Liberal Party that did source its phone calls from the United States.” But documents show 14 Conservative campaigns enlisted the telephone services of an Ohio company called Front Porch Strategies. During the election, the company made thousands of calls into each of those Canadian ridings from its headquarters in Columbus. In fact, Del Mastro’s own campaign used the American firm twice during his successful bid for re-election last year. A source connected to Front Porch tells CBC News that all the calls from Ohio to Del Mastro’s riding during the election were programmed to show the telephone number of his local campaign headquarters, masking the fact the phoning was being done from Ohio. Front Porch’s calls to 13 other ridings on behalf of Conservative candidates operated in the same way, the source said.

http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2012/03/01/john-ivison-mulcair-asked-for-conservative-cabinet-post-before-joining-ndp-tory-insider/ Mr. Mulcair calls the claims “transparently false,” while acknowledging he talked to the Conservatives (and the Liberals and the Greens) before opting to join the NDP, after quitting Jean Charest’s provincial Liberal government in Quebec City. I've no doubt in my mind (like any politician would) would take the best deal given to them..if that was the CPC he would be a conservative..if it was the liberals who gave him the best offer it would have been the liberals, but hes an NDP and now 6 years later he is running to be the leader of the party
-
Muclair confirmed he was basically shopping around for a party .. talking to the libsrals conservatives and ndp and greens before deciding ndp is the best fit...that isn't what I look for in a leader I want my leader to already know which party he fits in Mr. Mulcair calls the claims “transparently false,” while acknowledging he talked to the Conservatives (and the Liberals and the Greens) before opting to join the NDP, after quitting Jean Charest’s provincial Liberal government in Quebec City. http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2012/03/01/john-ivison-mulcair-asked-for-conservative-cabinet-post-before-joining-ndp-tory-insider/

lol, Harper does this just when Putin wants to join together and work with Canadian scientists someone didn't tell Putin that Harper hates science http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/putin-urges-joint-arctic-scientific-council-with-canada/article2356158/ Russian leader Vladimir Putin challenged Canada to set up a joint scientific council with his country to investigate issues over Arctic sovereignty and help the United Nations draw new boundaries in the northern regions, where fast-melting ice is opening channels for oil drilling, mining and shipping.

Is this U.S official an idiot? does he not realize that Canadians would never accept American control of our border? I doubt the Americans would care too much if a Canadian were in charge of their northern border..they're not paranoid of us like we are of them ..what will happen if Canadians want to go to Cuba? are they going to discriminate and push us? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ottawa-notebook/us-official-predicts-norad-border-pact-with-canada/article2356680/ A top Homeland Security official says he believes the time will come when Canada and the United States have a joint organization to handle border controls – what he described as the “NORAD border.” The North American Aerospace Defense Command is a unified U.S.-Canada effort to protect continental airspace. Headquartered in Colorado, it was first created during the Cold War to deal with the threat of missile- or bomber-borne nuclear weapons from the Soviet Union The commander of NORAD, however, is always a United States officer while the deputy commander is always Canadian. The rotating duty shifts regularly put Canadians in operational command of North American airspace, such as when planes hit the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. Alan Bersin, the assistant secretary of international affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was speaking to an Ottawa audience Friday about efforts to flesh out a recent perimeter security deal between Canada and the United States. He’s also the department’s chief diplomatic officer and until recently served as the commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Mr. Bersin was asked if he foresaw the day when Ottawa and Washington could agree on a bi-national institution to handle border matters – one that preserved each country’s sovereignty but where one official was in charge, regardless of whether they were Canadian or American. Mr. Bersin said both NORAD and co-operation over managing the St. Lawrence Seaway are both good examples of joint efforts between the two countries. “We have to actually get back to that mentality,” the U.S. official said. “While it will take awhile – and while we develop mechanisms to respect sovereignty, but also recognize where it is we need to blend our energies – I believe that time will come.” Mr. Bersin gave the business audience he was addressing an example of where he’d like the relationship to proceed. “Why should we have separate admissibility processes into our countries if in fact North American security would suggest that a Canadian and a U.S. immigrations and customs official ought to be working together to clear people in Frankfurt who are coming into Canada, to clear them such that they would be able then to come seamlessly across [the joint border into] the United States.” This will take effort, he warned. “To say that is to show how far we have to get there: to build the NORAD border,” Mr. Bersin said. “But I think that is the vision that will drive this co-operation, recognizing there are many intermediate steps.” Mr. Bersin declined to elaborate on his remarks following his address.
