Well except on the hockey rinks, of course. We do tend to be more community minded than our neighbours to the south, but I think it's geography. Americans settlers would take their family and load them into a covered wagon & head West to build a life. Not so much in Canada. Anyone, in those times, heading out on their own wouldn't make it through the winter. Our fore fathers had to build community groups and work together to survive. I think it shaped our culture and attitudes. We tend to be rule followers, (not me, of course, but those other guys <Smile>).
