I went out last night to hear a local band and have a couple beers with friends. The lead singer of the band was clearly not feeling well - he apologized for a couple of blunders and asked the audience "Has anyone else been sick for a week of every month for the last 2 years?" Almost everyone nodded or said Yes. One of my friends turned to me and said, "Everyone has, except for you because you didn't get the shots."

Seems like an issue of small sample size. The OP has a small social circle and therefore thinks that this small group is indicative of the entire population (Canada, US, and/or both). I could do the same. I have a limited social circle and no one has been sick more than usual nor are they resentful. We had folks at my office here who objected and yet work carried on as normal. they simply used their lunch to get tested. No whining, no complaining.. or at least not out in the open.

Have received 3 COVID shots and have not felt any different since then.
