  1. Tucker clearly stated "the 2020 election was not fair". And he blamed mail in and electronic voting without one iota of evidence viable enough to be substantiated in a court of law. Period. https://www.thewrap.com/tucker-carlson-trump-voting-machine-conspiracy-election-video/
  2. Cultural norms could be misconstrued as all homosexuals back in the closet. The homosexuality issue is a point of contention. And a point of contention that, by law, should default to the same rules apply to be everyone. But, unfortunately, the extreme right (apparently) is never going to allow trans folk to enjoy the same rights as everyone else. The law is clear, but in this instance, the far right could give a f__k less about the law. Again, it's a major point of contention. And one that neither extreme side has shown an interest in compromising on.
  3. Do you mean "traditional" values or do you mean Religious tenets?
  4. Read the article. Loads of red state folks are watching a lot of trans porn. I guess its the appeal of "forbidden fruit"... ?
  5. Well, we have the far left attempting to allow trans women to compete against cis women. The far left, so blinded by their dreams of 100% inclusion, not realizing, or not caring, that most trans woman will have an unfair advantage when competing against cis women, have created an impasse that the right (rightfully) won't allow. Then there's the bathroom issue and gender affirming surgery for children issue, so the right, who already have a visceral aversion towards trans, are primed. Add in the mountain of alt-right propaganda whack a moling them all day long..... Let's just say the fires been lit. The one thing both sides are forgetting is that, by law, everyone has the same rights... Not more...... Not less....... The same rights..... So compromises have to be made by both extreme sides..... And none of these extremist sides are willing to give an inch. That's where we sit today
  6. Well, amongst heterosexual men.... Especially the "cowboy" alpha male sets, there's a real issue with their perceived masculinity. These alpha male types have been known to beat trans women who approach them to death. Their reasoning is the trans woman shook their masculinity. In other words, trans women make them question their own masculinity, so they strike out with violence.... Or, stop buying Bud Light.
  7. What I mean by "why" is what is the logical reason behind their anger. It's much more than the trans athletes issue and certainly far more than the bathroom issue. It's a far more visceral bitterness. I just can't understand why they are so against trans being accepted, because that's what it boils down to. They simply will not ever accept trans in society.
  8. I'm at a loss for words at how bitter the right is about Dylan Mulvaney. That one trans woman has generated such venomous anger amongst the Jethros is mind boggling. I've asked the rightwing here and on other forums why they're so angry about this and their only reason is "because their sick". They don't care about the law. They don't care about justice. They just demand trans folk are not included in society. And these anti-intellectual bags of garbage are serious as a heart attack. Welcome to trump's America. And btw, I like your "different divisions" idea. But unfortunately neither side appears to be Interested in compromise.
  9. "Federal records show the Trump 2020 campaign paid Block’s firm more than $750,000 in six payments" This confirms Donald knew he lost. He paid $750,000 for the verification that he lost. Yet all his minions still, to this day, venomously demand he won. Angry, bitter childlike losers digging their heels in on Donald's fabrication. I've never seen anything like it. And these fools..... They are never going to give up.
  10. Donald hired a second form to find evidence of voter fraud in 2020 election.... They found no fraud. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2023/04/27/trump-false-election-fraud-claims/
  11. So your bigotry seeks to rob them of their humanity. That's what is truly disturbing.
  12. Yes. I'm sure that telling ones gay son that you find him to be "abnormal" didn't dredge up any ugly connotations. The line above was sarcasm.
  13. I can be uncomfortably direct at times. I hope you know that I do try to be as cordial as possible. But I do recognize that I fail at being cordial often.
  14. If you'd prefer I not be cordial to you just say the word....
  15. So you blame his being a homosexual on him? Or do you think it was cast in stone because of his DNA?
  16. For being a bigot and demonstrating that bigotry to your own flesh and blood
  17. A dirty little secret is coming out of the closet. Republicans are obsessed with tranny porn. Some folks are so transphobic because they are sexually attracted to them. Is this the reason why they have to claim they hate them so much? https://lawsuit.org/general-law/republicans-have-an-obsession-with-transgender-pornography/
  18. Have you ever wondered why trans folk bother you so much? I mean logically, really sat down and asked yourself why you have such an irrational disapproval of them?
  19. I don't think you're a bad person. We both are products of our environment. But change is possible if we allow ourselves to acknowledge our issues. I hope your gay family members forgive you.
  20. I've constantly, over the years, had to reevaluate my persona and how it affects those who i love. It's not easy to change for the better. But I'm a living breathing example of how it's possible. I think we all need to be able to compromise and be more accepting. It's all that allows us to hold a lasting bond.
  21. I feel bad for them. I'm sure he knew you were bigoted before, but what did he say when you told him that you think he's abnormal?
