  1. History has always proven to be written by the winner. Justin is winning, therefore we are wrong and will be remembered as such.
  2. People do not remember their history. When houses were being built to be heated by Electricity. Then the Government came along and upped the price so much that it was costing everyone $500/month for heat. it will happen again. At least you can buy a new car. Try selling your house when it was heated by electricity during those times. No thank you. I prefer the devil I know compared to the one I do not.
  3. There is no silver bullet. Ever since the green movement started we have robbed Peter to pay Paul. How green is it to transport oil from other countries or via train. Do we actually gain anything from recycling when the majority of the waste is shipped overseas and burned in the open air. The environmental impact of producing and recycling EV batteries does not out weigh their gasoline counterpart. Only if there were a true clean method of producing limitless energy, will it ever be effective. Now if you want to really go off the conspiracy deep end and we have seen this in the past with the EV1 where big Industry crushed the Electric car; Supposedly unlimited energy has been created many, many times, but always been covered up. Imagine what a terrorist could do with a small battery with unlimited power. The amount of power it could release would be reason enough for any government to want to stifle the technology as well. So if you are thinking that there will ever be a silver bullet; I do not think there ever will be until we have world peace.
  4. I agree with the majority of your topic and specifically the headline. I really wish I, not being a Quebec resident, could vote for the Block. The Block say they are not interested in being a Federalist Party. They are only out for the interests of Quebecers but they hold most of the power over the country. The fact is, if they did have candidates outside Quebec they would become a majority forcing them to break away from Canada and off of the teat of the Canadian taxpayer. This they cannot afford to do as they cry for being a have not province and they do everything possible to maintain that status. I'm reminded of this every time I pay for hospital parking.
