Definitely in a twisted way access to financing has allowed Universities to charge obscene money for their courses. It would be unfair considering the millions of students who had to refinance their mortgages or the like just to pay down their debt. My wife had some debt from her days in Colorado and these guys are relentless. There really is no way out and if you don't want your life to be a living hell, pay off your student loans.

Yes I saw Elon's tweet. Indeed Americans were much more conservative in the Reagan years and Democrats were actually, at times, people one could reason with. I know my position on the spectrum has not changed. People world wide have just gone further to the left.

Yes Macleans did a similar poll for Canada years ago. Basically Canadians said if a pregnancy makes their life hard in any way, they are for all out abortion.

I'll say it again, most of those on the left absolutely do not like free speech. They just label every dissenting opinion now as disinformation. And according to them, disinformation only comes from conservatives and all liberal opinions are holier than thou.
Why is nobody on the left upset about Jeff Bezos owning the Washington Post.
You honestly consider Elon Musk to be a dumb guy?
What is really distressing is seeing the very organizations that survive on free speech being against it, such as CNN and various news papers. How can you thrive on free speech AND choose to deny it to others?

The schools in FL essentially wanted to sexualize K to grade 3. Not necessary. Now some kids like my own 9 year old just became too curious and so I had to break the news to him. But I was able to do that as a parent, making sure he wasn't thoroughly confused by telling him to can actually "choose" your gender.

How do we think he hopefully runs twitter? My hope is that it becomes a bastion for free speech. No more banning members for their politics. At most Twitter should curb threatening speech. But carefully. "I hope Allah nukes you". Just hyperbole and really not threatening unless you are an imagine less snowflake. "I am going to find where you live and murder you and your family". I think that person should get a warning, and if they continue an ever increasing time ban. Like Facebook does but not artificially the way FB does it.

The Democrats control the largest think tanks, the largest foundations, the universities, the media...did I leave anything out? And the Deep State, the unelected government, is mostly controlled by them. Doesn't help the GOP are a bunch of political nitwits who get outmaneuvered by the Democrats constantly. The 2020 election was stolen and the GOP just stood there and let it happen.

Electric vehicles are still in their infancy. We need to start building a second hand market in EVs. Still not convinced on their viability.

I'm not a fan of how twitter is used from a technical perspective. I probably will never sign up, but love how the left is howling. A little free speech is just too much for them.
