Id be quite happy if stopped all trade with them. Theyre crap is filling our landfill at a never before seen rate. We cant get rid of foam packing but our government puts no demands on them to package with recyclable materials. There is no upside to dealing with them.

It makes me nervous knowing that O.A.S. Is something that is vulnerable in future governments that are stuck with this massive growing debt. Being a Gen X’er without an indexed pension, kinda hoping its there for me.

I gotta say, the National’s new format really puts this in perspective,, and to think I thought Mansbridge’s interview with JT was a national embarrassment, hoggy barton has raised the bar dramatically, especially good at burying any story not complimentary to socks,,, usually gets a brief mention, then straight to conservatives against abortion and being deniers. Harper completely underestimated this bloated bureaucracy and its ability to influence the electorate. Even that POS Mulroney, says not dealing with the cbc was his biggest regret.

Agree, but I think his ability to define the terms of a discussion/debate is needed from the conservatives, Scheer was abysmal at this, and his opponents were able to define him to the public. Pierre’s ability to make a liberals arguments look down right stupid, while enraging them in scrums is absolutely needed from a Conservative leader, and its hilarious!

This tread went south fairly quick lol. My pick for leader is Pierre Poilievre, mearly for his debate strength and performance in question period. He doesnt miss a beat and would likely embarrass JT in an election debate. Unfortunately him being from Alberta will probably be an attack angle for the cbc, when shilling and campaigning for their messiah.

Not sure why the cbc is airing American movies, its beyond their mandate. They need to be trimmed dramatically.
