  1. What? Hell no....why would you think that?
  2. I hope it is wrong information?
  3. Canadian Muslims are coming out to vote in enormous numbers. The media seems to be celebrating this. And there you have it - the reason for mass immigration of these people. If they already have the numbers to directly sway results in 113 ridings - what will happen when that number becomes higher and higher? Right now they are “making Canada stronger” by using our democracy against us. It’s only a matter of time if things continue as they are, before they will be making all the decisions. Ya Islam will make Canada stronger. NOT! In another 25-30 years the parliament buildings will be flying the crescent moon flag , because we where politically correct! In my opinion, TRUDEAU needs to GO!
  4. Hi Dougie93, no we had values. I don't know what is happening to Canada. It's in the states too. I visited a Walmart in Dearborn, Michigan about 8 or 10 years ago. I could not believe my eyes .... almost every female shopper was in a full Burka ensemble. Ridiculous. Now we are catching up. Dearborn has been taken over. I'm sure there are several places in the US like this. Maybe I am not fully understanding what you are trying to say but I want the old Canada back ... one without all the Hijabs, Burka's and Turbans. Saying Merry Christmas again, motorcycle helmets for all or none for all, pictures with full faces, uniforms with no religious attire, etc. And pass Bill 21 all over Canada. In my opinion, religion will destroy us.
  5. My problem has nothing to do with race or white heritage. It's all about Canadian values for me. These are shared by many and not owned by a color. I have received some comments here and elsewhere that I am a bigot, racist, etc. and this is not the case. Many many Canadian's feel like me but ignore it or afraid to speak or simply don't care. I thought about deleting my profile here because this is a subject that is hard to talk about. But I joined because I wanted to speak freely and share my thoughts and feelings without being judged. I care deeply about this issue and I have a really hard time with Muslim's. Not by choice. As I have mentioned in some of my posts, experiences for me with this religion have been very bad. At first, it did not bother me. I respected and did not judge. However, the same was not returned. Instead I was judged and my family. Let me say, I have been treated very disrespectfully. I do not like the Hijab or Burka. It bothers me to see woman covered up or woman walking behind their man. I wonder why some public schools display Arabic signage and allow prayer time during school hours. I wonder why I see Muslim's praying on carpets in the park, I wonder why it's not okay to say Merry Christmas anymore, etc. I attended a high school graduation a few years back. You could sit anywhere you wanted in the auditorium and for some reason all the Muslim parents gathered in the same section and then there was everyone else. So confusing? In speaking with other people or reading articles on the internet there is talk about Sharia Law eventually coming to Canada. I do really stress about this. I don't like feeling this way but it's really hard. I was hoping to get some advice and comments from all of you on this forum to help me understand or whatever. After socializing and getting to know a Muslim family when they first moved to Canada 15 years ago, I was stabbed in the back and found out they were trying to convince my young daughter to wear a Hijab. After one bad experience after another, I started to research the Muslim culture and made a scrap book. I wanted to learn and have more information. Anyways I have attached to this post a few of the articles from my scrapbook. Is it possible this could happen with Canada? Thanks everyone. 6. Thank you Rue My father was born in Quebec. He does not like his hometown for many of the same reasons you mention lol But like me, he fully agrees with Bill 21. PS There is always Metamucil *wink
  7. Wonderful to hear about your sister! I would not know she is Muslim and she would not know I'm Christian. Bill 21 would not affect her. Well I have had comments from Muslim women on dress and also I did socialize with a Muslim family and they behind my back tried to convince my 9 year old daughter that she should be wearing a Hijab. And I could go on and on. I am not racist or ignorant. It is my own personal experiences that have led me here.
  8. Really. Well I seen my first live Hijab 15 years ago where I live. Other than then some old ladies wore a head covering for the rain and I am pretty sure they were plastic? Also seen many Burka's and Hijab's watching TV years ago with wars in the middle east, always fighting and killing over religion. Seen many of them on TV only. Growing up in Ontario I did not see any religious head coverings like we do now. Covering your face for weather is a whole different story. If you have a scarf wrapped around your face and neck because it's so cold out ... and then when you enter the bank or wherever, you would remove it once out of the cold to talk or shop or whatever. You are not making sense.
  9. Hey calm down! Every one is allowed their opinion. No need for swearing Jacee And limit everyone? What are you talking about? Bill 21 is for public service workers and I happen to agree with it. Many people agree with it! As for the "Burkini", I don't get it. The Muslim men can swim in shorts and no shirt and soak up some sun ... lucky them!
  10. Hey simply put ---- you don't know what my religion is out in public and nor should I know yours And I have mentioned in posts before that my interactions with Muslim women have not been good and on more than one occasion. They would like to see all of us Canadian women covered up. Seriously. If your a woman, go out and hang around with some of them. It won't take you long to figure it out. Remember they have to sit at the back of the Mosque. I can't believe you don't look at this as being oppressed. Ladies first? Not.
  11. And I would throw a party if Bill 21 went Canada-wide! Where is my right that I don't want my children being taught by a woman in a Hijab or man in a Turban....etc. And you also say the Hijab is not oppressive. Check out the rest of her clothing. She is covered from head to toe. They wear long sleeve and covered right up usually down to the ankle. Very oppressive.
  12. Okay. I disagree She also thinks Sheer will never be PM. But she will? Is it her style also to apologize for her Christian beliefs? Because she just did that recently in an interview. I guess I don't like May's folksy charm and style.
  13. I laughed when Singh told Benier he shouldn't be there. Singh's comments to Bernier about his views being bad for Canada shows a difference in Singh's beliefs that an immigration policy that brings in as many of his culture to this country and Bernier 's views which is to Make Canada Great Again ! Bernier did not speak much but made sense when he did...the moderators allowed others to interrupt him for lengthy periods. And Trudeau with ... the 900K he brought out of poverty? He must be referring to refugees!! And I think he put 900K Canadian TAXPAYERS into poverty! And May with .... "I've been in that restaurant" lol Elizabeth May once again proves she is an idiot.
  14. Well this is all without a paycheck lol Amazing to me Trump 2020.
  15. Thanks Goddess. I am just seeing this message now. Did not know she changed her story. Wow!
  16. Yes I attended Bernier's rally last night. He will defund CBC. I really like him. He makes sense. He is out of the box! I have gotten really disappointed because he does not receive as much media attention. I am surprised there were protesters there last night. Only about 15-20 very young people. Yelling things like racist, bigot, etc. Bernier is not a racist. He wants to keep Canadian Values. I hope the debate goes very well for him. Go, Bernier, go!
  17. So true! Yes the worry is about finances. But also the signage concerns me. My problem is not with immigrants. We have always had immigrants - normal people, just trying to get ahead in life. But did we change the rules for them before? No. Many of the new immigrants, in my opinion are not assimilating.
  18. Not in my town. Many are Muslims. Burka's is our grocery stores, Hijab's everywhere I look. It's wonderful! So I guess it depends on what part of Canada you live in.
  19. Oh my...this is troubling. My grand kids go to public school. My daughter tells me over half immigrants, mainly Muslim. They now display signage in Arabic.
  20. So true with Hilary. But she did win the popular vote? On another note, I will be attending Bernier's rally tonight in Essex, Ontario! Woo hoo.
  21. Thanks for sharing. That is terrible! I was just curious. A Muslim once told me women are the problem re: temptation for man. Seriously, I thought God created us from a rib bone from man, so man would not be lonely. lol It's Monday morning!
  22. Thanks Goddess. The women are worse! It's jealousy? Can you share specifically of some of your experiences of hatred?
  23. Hi Argus, it is more than clear who the real haters are. And it is not Bernier's group. They were having a peaceful lawful event until hate showed up in mobs and masks and became violent. Calling people heinous names and accusing them of being the haters ironically. The ultimate hypocrisy!
  24. Thanks Argus. It seems the real culprit is the media via Intranet. What a curse. I was 11 years old when a black boy tied me to a piece of gym equipment in a school yard and put his genitals in my face! The horror! Being racist works both ways! He could have been any color. I certainly don't focus on that aspect of it. He was a sick bully. That's it.
  25. I agree. I don't believe what the polls say. It is not accurate. If Trudeau gets back in, I will be shocked! Or maybe I'm just praying he does not!
