  1. Okay, this just in. No oil was 'stolen'. In fact the world is flush with oil right now and if anything the western oil producing nations would prefer if Iraqi oil never saw the light of day. Or Iranian oil or Russian oil or Venezuelan oil. And contrary to popular belief low oil prices are not good for the US economy or the Canadian economy as well as others. There was no oil stolen from Iraq, there were no resources stolen from Afghanistan, and it was not about a pipeline as many conspiracy theorists of the day liked to spout. The world is not going to get off of fossil fuels anytime soon and in fact will need more and more. As time goes on and more electric vehicles come into the mix it will become more natural gas than petroleum because electricity is a manufactured product and alternative energy is no where close to filling that gap to get off of gasoline/diesel powered vehicles. Natural gas can and it also solves the emissions C02 problem. Natural gas is a very clean fuel.
  2. I find it odd this passed the 'effort' test of starting a topic. Get it, moderator ? Of course you don't.
  3. US Military says it is 'concerned'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F_EF8kcEKw
  4. I love these kind of posts/topics. Can't get enough of 'em. You'd think you were living next door to 1930's Soviet Russia. Hey, you could have Mexico on your southern border. Then there wouldn't even BE a Canada. At least, not as you know it.
  5. Now higher than New York City. Discuss https://www.blogto.com/city/2018/06/toronto-homicide-rate-now-higher-new-york/ https://www.opslens.com/2018/04/london-exceeds-new-york-city-murder-rate-a-first-in-modern-times/
  6. On January 21, 1977 President Jimmy Carter pardoned the draft dodgers and made good his campaign promise to grant unconditional pardons to those who fled the U.S. to evade the draft during the war in Viet Nam.
  7. 'Canada took in 28,100 of the 92,400 refugees who were resettled in 25 countries during 2018.' ICE officials say they have released over 100,000 illegal immigrants into the country over the last three months, averaging over 1,000 per day.
