    It's not hard to find people who think/know what a fool ford is - the 80% of Ontarians who did NOT vote for him, for starters. The man can barely articulate a sentence and thinks 'buck a beer' is what people need right now.  Hah!  He is ridiculous, and will prove just how ridiculous more and more with each moronic move he makes.

    Might not be a bad idea to look up what socialism is.  The opposite of what you seem to be in favour of - sad.  he does not care one bit about the "working class" - he has no idea what that even means.  High in la-la land?  These are smart, political women - ford is a total amateur.  But it's early days yet, he has and will continue to demonstrate this amply in the months to come.

      Sophia - don't underestimate the anger of the people with Wynn.   Just because the election is over and Ford had won - don't ever think that the destructive Wynn has been forgotten so easily.

      It still makes my blood boil whenever we end up discussing Wynn!  Ontario is on her knees because of her!

I'm not the one high tailing it from the forum because someone doesn't agree with me. Besides, our new fish finder is so very much more interesting than your rants and sore loser tantrums. So I'm sure you can see why I'd rather do that than read any more of the drivel you were tossing around.

    Because the voting system is flawed, does not also mean that all the leaders are as dumb or morally bankrupt as, say, this one.  I will definitely keep frothing until this buffoon is no longer in public sights.  Along with the rest of Ontarians who feel as I do.  It doesn't take much legwork to find them...

    It seems to me all you do is compare Canada to the U.S.  What is your game?  The "honourable" doug ford is a barely literate thug - kind of like your most "honourable" prez.  And some math for you - 20% of Ontarians voted in this idiot.  (that would be 40% of the 52% of Ontarians who bothered to vote).  Hardly a strong majority.  It only happened because of our voting system, which sucks.

      Her blind support of BSL was indeed disgusting. They even sold puppies to research labs. Once when asked about BSL she stated that there were too many dogs in Ontario anyway. Ironically the average dog is a far better creature than her.

    With only 17% of hardcore supporters still standing by the idiot trump and less than a 40% general approval rating, and Mueller closing in on trump, we can likely look forward to the demise of the trumpism that is an ugly and likely racist reaction to Barack Obama (a black president) being in office for 8 years. Here in Canada, we now have our own trump wannabe in the dashing figure of doug ford and cannot afford to be complacent. He not only looks like trump but his moronic policies and self-serving, morally corrupt ideas are more than a little reminiscent of the orange "man" who wanted to be a president. There is not surprise here. Most of Ontarians loathe doug ford, thankfully. His tenure will be in turns chaotic, ridiculous, infuriating, laughable, polarizing, dispiriting and sickening. He has already covered all of those, in varying degrees, in his first few months in office. Ontarians and Canadians in general must stay vigilant and ensure that the childish and self-serving politics of these very limited men is short and loudly protested against in our democratic society - as we have seen in the past week at Queen's Park. The invoking of the notwithstanding clause to flout the law to suit his own ends, clearly demonstrates what type of cretin we have at the helm. The 80% of Ontarians who did NOT vote for this moron will be watching, listening and protesting his every move. It won't be pretty, but he won't last long.

    I wonder where these protesters where when the Liberals were screwing over Ontario on a regular basis? If you cast your memory back to the 90's under Mike Harris, you will recal that people actually DIED under a government who would do anything to cut corners. "Corners" such as clean water. He was practically run out of town on a rail, as will be ford, another moronic PC. "Liberals screwing over Ontario on a regular basis" is hardly the case. Just watch ford do that in spades. Not even 3 months into his first term and the place is a mess. Definitely was time for a new face this time around, but not this ugly mug.

    If you actually listen to Horvath speak, and know what the ideology of the NDP are, you would know she is articulate and has a moral compass. Her job is to make sure that there is social equity, to respect and support the working class - which ford knows nothing about, although he casts himself as one of them - and to do right by the rights and freedoms of the democracy we live in. She hardly is offering "lots of stuff" (a ridiculous comment) but I absolutely prefer a leader who leans in, listens and supports actual people - not some bogus beer-drinking, truck-driving/gas guzzling moron such as himself.

    I see ford for who he is - a total amateur with idiotic ideas. Do people actually think that 'getting things done' means a buck a beer? this nonsense about city council? Taking away $100million in school repairs? Cancelling huge environmental initiatives? He has infuriated pretty much every interest group - educators, LGBTQ, business people (see cancelling windfarm projects that are already heavily invested in and almost completed), lawmakers and anyone else who respects the Charter of Rights & Freedoms, anyone who is literate. "the histrionics are ... over the top"? I think that is the right of people in a democratic society - to protest. His moral compass in negligible - I would say equivalent to his IQ. He is known as a bully and was a blight on Toronto City Council. Late to meetings (if he showed at all), talking on his cell throughout, talking over people, etc. They loathed him. so this is just payback by someone who probably never even heard of the Charter til one of his minions told him about it. SAD.

    You are correct - definitely not a fan! And I agree with you on all counts, except for the 'finger-wagging' reference. Contrary to popular view, I quite liked Kathleen Wynne and was sorely disappointed with the turn of events, albeit it was time for a new face at the helm. I much would have preferred Andrea Horvath, whom I see as gutsy, intelligent and someone with a strong moral compass. She is a woman of the people. Doug ford is nothing of the sort - but a massive troublemaker without a brain - as per our "president" in the U.S. He is into the first quarter of his premiership and chaos reigns. It is to be ashamed to be an Ontarian - the rest of the country are shaking their heads as is our PM. Thanks for your commenting.

    Why any Ontarian who voted for doug ford should be surprised by his childish and idiotic behaviour around the use of the notwithstanding clause to push his own private grudge match with Torontonians is a surprise to me. His style has never wavered since his brash bully tactics were noted while his ridiculous brother was mayor. He clearly is the moronic trump in looks, intellect, the ability to articulate the English language, and his populist and nonsensical ideas of what is important, and his self-indulgent mastery of idiocy on every level. Except he has full power and intends to use it to control Ontarians. With 40% of the 52% of Ontarians who actually voted, the numbers of his supporters are not very high. You do the math. Ontarians need to step up and stop this megalomaniac in any and every way possible. Let's get on board with the 'we can't afford another Ford' campaign, starting right here.
