Well not quite, if you want to carry any sort of restricted weapon, such as an AR 15 you have to register it with the RCMP. Maybe Americans ought to wise up a bit and give it a try. Have a look at the difference in gun deaths between the two countries.

Who are you trying to kid? Bump stocks being banned would have only the slightest impact on this event. He had 75 minutes to fire at will, but he completed what he wanted to do in about 12. Actual restrictions on gun ownership, such as we have in Canada, or they have in the UK, would have an effect. The stats speak for themselves.
