Well despite my name being "TheRightWing" i'm not a social Conservative, in that area I'm particularly Libertarian (I'm a Barry Goldwater Conservative, not a Sarah Palin Conservative)... and so his position on SSM is quite simple, political. I mean come on, his administration said they were no longer going to defend DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act, an act signed under Clinton btw that is a federal law that denies basically nationally SSM to same sex couples). He skirts the issue like most things. Look at his leadership on the whole Libya crisis, my grandmother would have had more of a position.

So let me start off by saying a couple of things about myself. I'm a South African born, British Citizen immigrant that moved to Canada almost 6 years ago now. I'm a citizen, and I have so far lived in Halifornia (Halifax, Nova Scotia), Vancouver and now Toronto, possibly to move to Banff in the future, or back to Halifornia or maybe join the Canadian Forces not sure yet. So I want to ask you guys whats your favorite place in Canada that you've been to? I personally love Halifax the best, best part of Canada IMHO. I'd like to Visit newfoundland though, I hear St Johns is just awesome. Yours?

Well, we're all pretty much insane aren't we, as a race I mean But yah know. Misunderstanding between us I apologize. All these groups are of course fringe elements of course. But I'd say in Quebec especially and relevant to the OP, historically has not favoured immigrants, whether they're forcing companies to have french signs bigger then English signs, forcing public school immigrants to learn Francais, it doesn't surprise me in the least about this news. However. Having been to Quebec, I don't think they're ALL protective white supremacists, I just think the sentiment of "who we are suppose to be" is a little stronger there then perhaps the rest of the country (save Rural Texas, Oops I mean Alberta).

Live in Downtown Toronto. On the corner of a building one block up, a bunch of Black dudes post up 1-2 times a week and spout there "black supremacy" bullshit. They hold up signs of white people in chains and read from the bible. Don't understand how that works. There are supremacy groups all around us. For this particular candidate...
