I agree. Christians are all kinds of things. Their beliefs wildly vary. Personally: I dont define myself as any particular religion because there are too many stereotypes and expectations attached to each one. I believe what I believe. Christianity, as with many religions, can be very different from Church to Church, region to region, and country to country.

It shouldn't be a "touchy" subject... SOMEONE needs to stand up for what is right! - This is a clear and simple human rights issue. On many issues, sitting somewhere is the middle, or basing a decision on circumstance makes sense.... But denying homosexuals equal rights is clearly just wrong. I think Harper should grow a pair and say something, as should all political leaders who know better. The majority of Canada agrees anyway, and Harper represent Canada... not Russia.
