  1. Odd that part of the curriculum was never about Caledonia and the violence against elderly townsfolk and how the OPP did not do their job for four years.
  2. ....and I agree And clearly directly tied to Native issues in Canadian schools.
  3. The link I posted is from Ontario.
  4. Which as you know has been banned since 1996 and is against the Charter of Rights as has been mentioned ad nauseum. http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/canada/sudbury/lord-s-prayer-banned-25-years-ago-after-sudbury-protest-1.1359913
  5. Plus the import of criminal element. https://voiceofcanada.wordpress.com/2009/06/01/mohawk-warriors-canada-allows-organized-crime-to-seize-canadian-border-crossing/
  6. And again cause facts are hard.https://mwalliancenow.org/blog/myths-facts-behind-standing-rock-sioux-tribe-claims/ yet more https://mwalliancenow.org/news/despite-facts-standing-rock-sioux-tribe-continues-spread-falsities/
  7. Your native warriors put n a great show on other people's land. Sure you do not want to come over and possess my property with your native card? http://standingrockfactchecker.org/fact-checking-srst-claims-9-7-16/
  8. Those were white people trying to walk on tax paid roads which is clearly shown. You are being obtrusive or an out right liar,.This is only part of what's happening now In Ontario due to illegal occupations, and this is what the illegal occupants in Standing TRock can look forward to . aayoure continued racism nad outright lied regarding g anything pertaining to a person whose skin is not of your colour is well noted. http://endracebasedlaw.net/mohawk-gang-costs-ontario-50-million/?print=print http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/two-standards-of-policing-failed-the-residents-of-caledonia/article792764/ https://voiceofcanada.wordpress.com/2009/06/01/mohawk-warriors-canada-allows-organized-crime-to-seize-canadian-border-crossing/ http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/judge-finds-six-nations-land-claim-exceedingly-weak/article4348896/ http://www.caledoniawakeupcall.com/news/homegrown.html
  9. It was rhetorical and on point for the topic. It's a matter of semantics .
  10. Very informative. Clearly religious.
  11. From the states, but finally some parity. Not Levayen, but they'll get around to it. Wonder what other religions are going to come out of the woodwork? You let one in, you have to let all in. First Nations should not get a pass. https://afterschoolsatan.com/
  12. Turkey is Jewish lands they can do what they want.
  13. 20 years ago. Laws changed.
  14. The children, the room, and all the furniture cleansed. Same as baptism or Shahada? Not sure
  15. Whaaaaaat? Yes, clearly, First Nations people have nothing to offer bUT defective dream catchers at the trading post.
  16. I'm not arguing whether their beliefs and rituals should be taught. Of course they should. But leave the ceremony to the appropriate house of worship.
  17. It is, as has been pointed out. btw, this happened not just once, but twice. http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/news/canada/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/b-c-mother-asks-court-to-keep-aboriginal-cleansing-ceremony-out-of-public-schools
  18. No consent letter required. Mandatory what your cHildreth will do. Deploreable
  19. You find a valenines card religious and Valentines, an event? K. Christmas trees, Halloween, Valentines and I assume the menorah are already not allowed in public schools. I don't remember Thanksgiving parties, but they are clearly not religious anyways.
  20. Stated in the link. School Act which expressly prohibits religious acts in the classroom.
  21. This is clearly a religious event that is prohibited by law in our schools. The fact it is First Nations is the only reason you are tryin to twist this. Your analogy also doesn't fit. The Vicar would be in church or a religious school where it would be acceptable.
  22. No mention of a consent letter. That's because it was mandatory. And telling people with dissenting views to " zip it" on a debate forum is counterproductive to say the least. "Servatius went to the school to learn more, but discovered that the ceremony had already taken place, and that all students were required to participate, said John Carpay, president of the JCCF. "This is contrary to the School Actwhich expressly prohibits religion in the classroom, religious practices, and it is also contrary to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms," Carpay said."
  23. Participation in religous/cult activities? I think it ignorant to presume other people's children should be forced because of your opinion.
  24. My history re indigenous people is that they took over Caledonia illegally and the OPP disn't help, all proven in court and settled with tax payers money. Not one racist comment from me ever. Keep religion out if school. All religion. First Nations don't get a pass.
