  1. The biggest reason why Zionism will fail is because more and more Jews from around the world are no longer able to stay silent as they cannot relate to Zionism's racist ideology. More and more Jews are speaking out and saying, "Not in our name." Haaretz: "Hundreds of Holocaust survivors and descendants of survivors have signed a letter, published as an advertisement in Saturday's New York Times, condemning "the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza" and calling for a complete boycott of Israel . . . "we are disgusted and outraged by Elie Wiesel’s abuse of our history in these pages to justify the unjustifiable: Israel’s wholesale effort to destroy Gaza and the murder of more than 2,000 Palestinians, including many hundreds of children. Nothing can justify bombing UN shelters, homes, hospitals and universities. Nothing can justify depriving people of electricity and water." Link
  2. Zionists have a hard time accepting their roots and their past. One of the reasons Israel came to be was due to the terrorist groups which attacked not only the occupiers, the British but also the natives of the land. They fail to talk about the numerous massacres committed by Jewish terrorist groups whose leaders ended up becoming Israeli prime ministers. Now, they have the audacity to throw their hands in their air and act shocked when the group they are brutally occupying and stealing land from stands up for themselves. A letter to the Israeli government from a retired terrorist Ruth Reznik was only 14 when she joined a Zionist militia and took up arms against the British in Palestine. Now, she says, is the time to understand why Gazans are taking up arms against Israel.
  3. Rue is taking everything so personally. Jacee has a valid point. How does Israel call itself a country if it has never accepted the internationally recognized border? A border that the Palestinians, the rest of the world, including Canada and U.S. accept.
  4. The only dispute is in Israel's eyes. The borders are defined by international law. Borders that both Canada and U.S. accept.
  5. The open-minded, the strong-minded and those who are able to feel empathy are not traitors. They are called traitors or anti-semites by people who feel threatened by them. Because they threaten the false narrative that they have forced on people for so many decades. I sometimes wonder what percentage of Germans were against the acts of their government. I'm assuming most didn't even know what their government was doing, mostly due to the lack of information. But in this day and age, when we see and know what is happening, there is no excuse. The lack of humanity in Zionism is a dark look at what humans are capable of doing - Which is to do whatever possible to try to justify a system that violates the human rights of another group of people. One day we will look back at Zionism and Israel the same way we look back at Apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany.
  6. This is a huge response and a symbol of what the Zionist movement has become: Dutchman returns Holocaust medal after family killed in Gaza Henk Zanoli, 91, whose father died in a Nazi camp, went to the Israeli Embassy in The Hague and returned a medal he received honouring him as one of the Righteous Among the Nations
  7. It worked. The Israeli ship that has a hand in the illegal settlements did not dock. Time for you to start accepting that the peaceful movements, like bds and blockade around the world are gaining momentum and are working.
  8. Although I have been critical of Israel for many years (basically for as long as I have made the effort to inform myself on the subject), increased familiarity with Zionists has bred contempt. In Zionists, I have witnessed flagrant dishonesty, abusive censorship, verbal displays of sadistic inhumanity and an absolutely infantile narcissism that drives Israel's double standards, over the top slaughter, and conscienceless bloody-mindedness. Obviously I don't hate all Israelis; not only is the idea of blanket-hatred preposterously stupid, but I am aware of decent Israelis who vociferously oppose their psychotic government. That being said, I do detest Israel. Before one speaks to people, one can speculate that they may have been grossly misinformed, or oppressively manipulated, but once one sees pure, unadulterated malice, in case after case after case, every potential mitigating factor that one has considered, is exposed as irresponsibly optimistic. There are some truly decent Israeli people. However, there is far more bad than good in Israel. The only suffering Zionists have caused me is to trample my right to free speech, with wildly abusive censorship, yet that abuse has been so shamelessly dishonest and nakedly malicious that it has been enough to move me from detesting Israel's aggression, to truly detesting Israel. So how could I possibly fault a single Palestinian for any part of the animosity that any one of them holds? I can't begin to comprehend the magnitude of the emotional toll that Israel's oppression takes on Palestinians. What I do understand well, is that Palestinians are being FORCED by Israel, to hate Israel, and then being slandered and slaughtered for a perfectly justifiable hatred of Israel.
  9. Two HUGE problems with the narrative you keep trying to shove down people's throats: #1 - It has been shown, that in the past 3 attacks on Gaza, Hamas has been provoked into shooting rockets. Each time, Hamas has observed ceasefires and it was Israel who broke them and attacked Hamas members. Provoking them into a response and then the PR machine and their mouthpieces such as Keepitsimple start their dishonest campaign with the shrugs and the familiar comment:"they started it!" #2 - This is before Hamas became a player: In 1993, PLO/Arafat accepted Israel as a State and stopped all attacks. How did Israel respond to that? No Palestinian state, more illegal Jewish settlements and more land theft. This is moving forward for you?
  10. Israelis receive massive amount of money and military aid from the US, turn around and make their own even more sophisticated weapons, try them on living, breathing Palestinians to see how effectively they can kill men, women, and children, destroy homes, hospitals, schools, and mosques, then go off to the global arms market to sell their most recent weapons to the best (including many Arab) buyers, as they dispatch Elie Wiesel to buy ads in newspapers in US and Europe to tell the world how Palestinians are hiding behind their own children and are child killers--while Obama and Hillary Clinton say Israel has every right to defend itself and the US Congress sends even more money and ammunition to "the only democracy in the Middle East," as BBC cites Israeli army spokesman that not that many people have been killed in Gaza anyway, while the Guardian publishes passionate articles warning that those who are protesting in Europe against any of these are antisemites--as the Israeli arms manufacturers go back to their bunkers to make even more sophisticated weapons to try them on Palestinians in about a couple of years from now, so that Sam Harris the American philosopher and chief executive of "Project Reason" can write another learned essay from his moral philosophical vantage point arguing "Why he cannot oppose Israel!"--it all kind of makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Link How Israel’s arms manufacturers won the Gaza war Iron Dome may have been the star performer during Operation Protective Edge, but the big international sellers may be the Tamuz missile and the Windbreaker system.
  11. Tell us more about what can and cannot happen, so we can make decisions based on your ability to see into the future.
  12. You have been reported for trying to defame me.
  13. Hamas and other militant groups are a reaction to the decades long occupation of the Palestinians. Hamas only became relevant in the mid-90's when it was shown that Israel is not about to negotiate any real, lawful peace agreement. When you occupy a people and steal their land and do not show any compromising - removing settlers from Gaza, only to re-plant them in the West Bank illegal settlements and continuing the occupation by controlling all borders, sea and air is not any kind of good faith gesture. It's more of the same crap that the Palestinians have gone through. Hamas and any other group who is under occupation, has every right to fight against the occupier, even by weapons. This is in the UN charter. What the problem is that the rockets they are firing are illegal, as they are shot indiscriminatory that could kill civilians. One thing that is telling by the people who keep crying about the latest bogeyman, in order to justify Israel's ongoing aggression and occupation is dwarfed by the decades long Israeli illegal actions. Actions that have been going on before Hamas was created - with the help of Israel.
  14. Look at the previous page:
  15. It is quite telling that you are showing this amazing empathy towards the Israelis who have had to deal with homemade rockets that rarely reach the civilian area, let alone kill anyone. Yet, the massacres, the ethnic cleansing, the occupation, the imprisonments, the torture of children, the inhumane treatment, the land theft, the house demolitions, the daily humiliation of Palestinians since before 1948 do not tickle your empathy meter to even mention them. It's like you are an extension of the self-censoring mainstream media. It is the Israeli officials who are talking about concentration camps and the genocide of Palestinians. When have you seen the mainstream media, except for CBC, talk about what these Israeli officials have said?
  16. Also, who cares about this call for genocide from another Isaeli MK: Behind every terrorist stand dozens of men and women, without whom he could not engage in terrorism. They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.” Humanity at its finest.
  17. Hi everyone. Who cares about this: An Israeli official has called for concentration camps in Gaza and ‘the conquest of the entire Gaza Strip, and annihilation of all fighting forces and their supporters’.
  18. This is how Israel explains to the media the killing of civilians in Gaza We haven’t heard reports of deaths, will check into it. The people were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket/bomb. Ok we killed them, but they were terrorists. Ok they were civilians, but they were being used as human shields. Ok there were no fighters in the area, so it was our mistake. But we kill civilians by accident, they do it on purpose. Ok we kill far more civilians than they do, but look at how terrible other countries are. Why are you still talking about Israel? Are you some kind of anti-Semite?
  19. There are 3 major factors that will force the Apartheid Israeli government to succumb to pressure: #1 - Technology and the ability to get information beyond the self-censoring mainstream media #2 - BDS movement #3 - Growing number of Jews living outside of Israel who are saying: "Not in our name" Joseph Massad: "Today many American Jewish luminaries in academe oppose Israeli policies unreservedly. Whereas once Noam Chomsky was a lone Jewish academic voice critical of Israel, he is today joined by scores of Jewish academics and intellectuals in opposing Israeli policies . . . . Some, like the prominent American Jewish philosopher Judith Butler, have surpassed Chomsky in their opposition to Zionist and Israeli racism and colonialism, and are vocal supporters of the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement and call for a one-state solution, both of which Chomsky does not support . . . . And this is not limited to Jewish intellectuals but extends also to Jewish activists, especially groups like Jewish Voice for Peace (which, among many of its anti-racist activities, played an important role in helping Palestinians and others persuade the Presbyterian Church USA to divest from companies profiting from the Israeli occupation), and the countless Jewish students joining, and in a good number of cases, leading groups like Students for Justice in Palestine based on their commitment to fight racism and colonialism, values that are the diametrical opposite of Zionist colonial racism and fascist tribalism." 20. This is the power of the public--it might be a momentary ruse, David Cameron might be lying--but he is lying under public pressure--which has to keep its momentum--until he does as he says he will do. U.K. reviewing arms exports to Israel over Gaza conflict Move similar to partial arms embargo undertaken by U.K. following Cast Lead, first reported in Haaretz; Gov't-approved U.K. contracts - which include body armor, drone components, and missile parts - are worth over $13 billion.
  21. You missed the major point of the article. Try reading it, before typing.
  22. I love the following:
  23. Excellent piece by ‪Jonathan Cook‬ (4 August 2014)--chapter and verse undoing the Israeli crescendo of lie and deception about the "kidnapped solider" as a ruse to murder more Palestinians--particularly brilliant is his catching the Euro-American Press with their complicit hands in the Israeli Hasbara cookie jar: "As occurs so often, many western journalists followed Israel’s lead. The London Times’ front page blared: “Kidnapped in Gaza”, while the Boston Globe called him the “abducted Israeli soldier." Israeli deceptions revealed in story of ‘kidnapped’ soldier The Washington Post reported on the circumstances as a Hamas suicide bomber emerged from a tunnel to explode his vest, killing two soldiers, and Goldin was pulled into the shaft. “On Friday morning, Israeli troops were in the southern Gaza Strip preparing to destroy a Hamas tunnel, said Israeli military officials. Suddenly, Palestinian militants emerged from a shaft.” CBS reporter Charlie D’Agata parroted the same Israeli briefings, also inadvertently exposing the central deceit. The soldier was “suspected of being kidnapped during an operation to clear tunnels – crucially, [officials] say, this happened after the ceasefire was supposed to take place.” So if a ceasefire was in place, what were Goldin and his comrades doing detonating tunnels, tunnels in which Israel says Hamas is hiding? Were Hamas fighters supposed to simply wait to be entombed in their bunkers during the pause in hostilities? Or was Israel the one violating the ceasefire? And then there was the explosion of military fury as Israel realised its soldier was missing. Israeli correspondents have admitted that the notorious “Hannibal procedure” was invoked: the use of all means to stop a soldier being taken alive, including killing him. The rationale is to prevent the enemy gaining a psychological advantage in negotiations.
  24. Too bad for Hamas, Israel already exists and is not going anywhere. After 60+ years, Israel still has not agreed to a Palestinian State. Not even after the Palestinians officially accepted Israel as a State in 1993. Hamas became relevant only in the late 90's. What was Israel's excuse then? Something else. They always have an excuse not to negotiate and to continue their expansionism and land theft.
  25. Hamas and Likud are in the same boat. Likud's platform does not recognize a Palestinian State. Netanyahu has come out and said what everyone knows already; He is not interested in allowing a Palestinian state to be formed. So what now?
