Trudeau to injured Canadian veterans - We cannot give you more.
A former soldier who lost a leg in Afghanistan was critical of Ottawa’s plan to reform some veteran’s programs, including changes to disability pensions. “I was prepared to be killed in action,” said Brock Blaszczyk, a former corporal who lost his left leg to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. “What I wasn’t prepared for, Mr. Prime Minister, is Canada turning its back on me.”
To shouts and boos from the crowd, Trudeau defended his government’s changes to veteran pensions. “Why are we still fighting against veteran’s groups in court? Because they are asking for more than we are able to give right now,” Trudeau said.
Trudeau entered the hall in Edmonton’s MacEwan University to mixed chorus of applause and boos. His answers were interrupted periodically through the night by angry shouts.

We cannot give you more.......because we've got them earmarked for rewards or compensations to Islamist terrorists! The returning ones - who joined the fight killing your fellow-soldiers, and who probably had a hand in maiming you - will have to be helped back into society, too.
Same with victims of Residential Schools. Be grateful you're getting anything at all. Too bad you suffered injustice at the actual hand of the government (the government actually ripped your families apart, and was complacent in the abuse that befell you) - but you're not Islamists. So, there!
