I totally agree, The_Squid. The committee has no credibility at all. The fact that they haven't kicked Butt out makes it even worse, because the members all obviously condone lying.

I have no problem with him being treated as medium-security. He is serving the time for his crime and he was, after all, a brainwashed child soldier at the time he committed the crime he was convicted of. I have no sympathy for terrorists of any kind, but I do make some allowances for children who were indoctrinated and used by terrorists. I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I'm fine with that.

It is the established Liberals' practice to publish expenses quarterly, not monthly. Those Liberals in the Senate will follow suit, which Trudeau says should be very soon. This will happen even though they are no longer members of the Liberal caucus in the House Of Commons. Trudeau made a smart and ethical move by removing Liberal senators from his caucus. It makes a clear division between Liberals in the two Houses and removes any appearance of an 'incestuous' relationship between the two, such as exists with the Conservatives who like to control everything (including the Senate).
