  1. She was always a true liberal at heart, but I think her goal in joining the cons was that she thought she could oust harper as the leader. This still leaves her as someone who just wants power,at any cost, and with really no convictions to speak of. I believe her remarks,"I did this for what is good for Canadians",were very shallow.Belinda wants power for Belinda,so watch your back Paul.
  2. Liberal: All things good and noble. Likes old people and small childern. NDPer: Liberal but even better. Maybe we should not get on our high horse just yet. There is starting to be some things in the press as of late to the contrary. If the press turns on us because of something found in the gomery inquiry,we could be in the same fate the cons have been in for the past number of years. If the press changes their feelings,or we cannot afford anymore, because of our new ndp budget to keep them happy and content, our words and thoughts could be very seriuosly altered when they report back to the Canadian electorate. This could keep the liberal party in a minority position and the ndp into an unofficial party.
  3. Sorry, but belinda is a traitor, and I've never felt comfortable with persons who trade sides at the drop of a hat. They are either good liars,or glory seekers. Her highly regarded move to our party in the future will not be a high point in the governing caucus.
  4. I somewhat remember a Bob Rae ndp budget. Both my party and the cons worked or are working to repair the damage done by that budget. If the ndp can so severely harm the prosperity of one province, does this new {forced}budget really bode well for the rest of Canada?I think our Mr. Goodale should have protested a little more strongly.
  5. My point is not too complicated ,or so I thought. If I am going to support a party, they have to up front with me and other Canadians. At this point in time,I feel like the people on the lower end of the liberal machine are being told to keep up the support for our party, and not to read too much into all the corruption allegations. This would have been fine, except this Belinda deal makes me think the liberal process is all about money, and if you have enough,we will accept you above other true liberals who have worked long and hard for the liberal party.
  6. I would like to help out the liberals cause on this forum, but the people who support good government, like honesty, integrity, the truth etc.,seem to be the supporters of the conservative stripe.Have they shown me that maybe my liberal friends are not actually what they claim to be?
  7. It is time for some of our true liberals to run for leadership. These people have crossed the floor from other parties and therefore truly believe in our tactics to remain in power.I believe our leader has put them on the front stage of the liberal party for no other reason, and he will pass the torch to whichever person has crossed the floor with the most dignity!
  8. Dipstick?Hardly. Will she ever deserve our trust?I should think so,she could by it even if we didn't think she deserved it.
  9. You people just don't get it.Quebec does not want to separate, their true goal is to govern all of Canada. We liberals know this, and also can never let it happen.Money keeps them content enough to just have the seperation parties in place, and as long as we continue to fund their salaries and pensions, nothing is going to happen. All it takes is money, and we can raise taxes anytime we want if we need more money to keep them on our side.
  10. The smart people have attained Belinda, this is justified by our win yesterday, and the fact that our leader can count, which he told you when explaining to you morons why Belinda's floor walk had nothing to do with the Layton budget vote. Just admit it,we are the best at the political game.
  11. There is absolutely no evidence that all or even a large number of Liberals are guilty of corruption. All the evidence at the Gomery inquiry seems to confirm that a relatively small group of Liberals were acting without the knowledge or control of most Liberals I sure hope this holds true in Fraser's new investigation, because we sure can't afford another election. We have spent enough money already trying to maintain power as it is.
  12. Good luck seeing the light and actually supporting the Liberals someday. With you head so far up your a**, your going to need it. Is that what you said to Belinda as well?P.S."your" should be spelt "you're",but that's okay for now.
