jbg Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Earlier, I have written on the tendency of people to blame Israel, Bush, the United States, Harper, take your pick, for the Arab's attacks on Western interests. The question always is, "what makes them so angry". My Primer on Arab Anger (link) surveyed the history of pre-Islamic senselessness in that region going back to Old Testament times. Now, immediately upon the expiration of a six-month truce, time apparently put to good use by the Arabs in importing missiles rather than rebuilding for internal purposes, the Gazans have been raining death on Beersheba, Ashdod, Ashkelon and other southern Israeli cities. If these act ions be suicidal, it should be the Arabs' and not Israel's suicide that results. The people elected Hamas in what they call democratic elections. The people of Gaza are now getting what they wanted and bargained for. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
jbg Posted November 18, 2012 Author Report Posted November 18, 2012 Rinse, wash, repeat. Same s***, different day. Gazan rain death on Israel, and Israel is condemned on this Board for retaliating (link). Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Merlin Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Yes, it's disgusting. I really hope that Israel invades and kills all of Hamas from Gaza then really occupies that territory and doesn't ever leave and makes Gaza part of Israel. Force the Arabs to live in peace or go to the West Bank. Quote
sharkman Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 It's a tragic age old story that began with Hagar and a man who tried to fix a problem instead of waiting for G-d. What shall we then do? I don't believe it can be solved with man at all. Peace? Only one thing will bring peace. Quote
