B. Max Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Not sure who I trust less, Reid or Musharraf. I'm kinda leaning towards Reid because I think Musharraf has learned his lesson. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said he agreed with Townsend that the U.S. should consider going after al-Qaida militarily "wherever they are." http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2...4306.shtml?s=lh Quote

Nothing could be more wrong. We had the Clinton appeasement years that directly led to 911, and even included using the US air force to further the goals of terrorists in Kosovo to set up another Islamic state. Quote

B. Max Posted July 26, 2007 Author Report Posted July 26, 2007 Wonder how much squirmin it will take to get out of Iraq? According to Reid and Pelosi, you just wave the white flag. Quote
Higgly Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 Iraq is already over. Bush has squandered the United States' international credibility. They have the weapons, but they no longer have the numbers. There is no longer a world superpower. But that is only temporary. Stayed tuned. Get with the program B. Max. No longer a superpower? Do tell. They walked over Iraq in about half an hour, crushed the Taliban in half that time, can project force anywhere in the world within a week, span the globe as an economic hegemon, and you're waiting for....ummmm....who, to fill this alleged vacuum of power? I do hope you're not American or this self-hate would be considered pathological. Quote
