Topaz Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 It seems the Minister of Fisheries is bring forth the Fisheries Act 2007. He said he as talked to fishermen across the country and this is a good document. The true of the matter is, The NDP, did their own survey and found that no one was contacted by the minister and in fact, when at a meeting with the fishermen, and with the minister present, he asked again if they were contacted by the minister, again they said no! In a committee meeting the only commerical fisherman is a con and when he raised questions of it and was against the Act, he was booted from the committee! No wonder the governmet is not working. So, Stephané Dion eats a hot dog with a fork and knife Quote "It may not be true, but it's legendary that if you're like all Americans, you know almost nothing except for your own country. Which makes you probably knowledgeable about one more country than most Canadians." - Stephen Harper
Figleaf Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 This is nothing more than typical liberal "scary Harper" fearmongering! Or should that be fishmongering? Quote

Topaz Posted May 29, 2007 Author Report Posted May 29, 2007 Your views don't surprise me much considering what we heard from HArper. Congrats to the Lib from PEI for winning over the Con! Quote

You are going to have to provide proof of your accusations. From what I've read it was tabled and made public, then many information sessions and more to come. So far this is a he said she said. The NDP obviously likes to spin it their way. Quote

Of course an undocumented NDP study gets more credence. Anything that casts the Conservatives in a negative light you know.
