I wonder what the outcry would be like if Al Jazeera posted a picture like this of a dead American (or God forbid, a Canadian) soldier? Why do we not bat an eye when pictures like the one that accompanies this article are posted, in fact even make note that its his last "closeup"... Thoughts?

To make a it a fair comparison, it would have to be that of a general.

And of course, the western public would be dubious of any claims that their leader was killed, necessitating the realse of the photographic proof.
